Nope... still waiting. I might call midweek if we still don’t have it as we recently moved and I had already filed a change of address form with USCIS but who knows what the lag time on them actually updating the info might be.

I filed an Change of address in September and at our interview in end of January they STILL hadnt updated our address. I brought a printed out form for change of address and she said she appreciated that. So if they haven't changed it yet, print the Form and bring it to the interview.

Hey guys when you took the updated I-864 with you to the interview did you included the beneficiary’s income in Part 6 section 8?

I had filled out that section based off our tax returns so it did include my income as well. But I think only the petitioners income matters. They didn't even look at the updated form at the interview. Told us we had already submitted one and handed it back to us.

They did specifically asked for health insurance and even tho I had submitted 2 copies, she didn't bother looking for it and actually took our original paper that you get for tax season to prove you had health insurance and kept it.

My EAD card got lost by the USPS for 2 weeks and my neighbor dropped it to me. Do you remember guys? 🙄😩

Oh I remember! It amazes me that these documents aren't sent by certified mail or they make you go to the post office to find it. I'm happy I'll get my 10 year gc now so the next step I only need to worry about is my N400 application in 3 years!

Our card was ordered to be produced in January 27. It is due to arrive February 1 (Usps priority mail).

We have a cluster mail box and our carrier is notorious for mis-delivering mail or leaving the entire cluster unlocked and open to thieves.ck

I will waiting outside all day Saturday for that Useless Stupid Postal Service  carrier to arrive, and will be chasing after that carrier if there is not green card in our mail box when she leaves.

I actually ended up chasing the mail man around town to get my ead card back in September 😂

Yup thank you. My husband make above the 125%. That is why I am thinking why I am not hearing anything from them.

You still haven't heard from them? I read a few pages back that they gave a paper. Our IO didn't give us a paper but my online account changed to interview being complete and needs review so I assume that's the same thing? I hope they make a decision for you soon!

Best of luck ! Let me know how it goes. My Hartford interview is in 2 weeks.

My tip is just to have everything that you want to add to your case ready to be handed in when you check in. The front desk is really friendly. Our IO was a lady from Laos and she was very friendly. I kept cracking jokes even tho everyone instructed me not to 😂 Good luck to you!

  7. Just finished our interview. We were there about an hour ahead of our time and they took our paperwork. I didn't realize they would ask for additional paperwork at the front desk so I had to go up 3 times with more stuff 😂 the lady was polite and friendly and we basically talked more about deers, seafood and our dogs than our actual application. She didn't ask any questions about our marriage or relationship. Nor did she ask about income. We went over my visas and I stumbled a little bit bc I had a hard time understanding her accent. She did question why I didn't study in England instead of the US and I said that the field I was in (autism) my education and work experience was more attractive since all our practices in Sweden stems from the US. She seemed to think that made sense.I did manage to see her notes that said "good bona fide marriage" and then she went over all the forms. I had forgotten to answer like 5 of the questions on there and I said our wedding date wrong, that it was October 17 and not 14 but in my head I was thinking of 2017. She made copies of our passports, drivers license and health insurance and my ead. She didn't say anything about approving us or when we'd hear for a decision so we are still in limbo. She didn't ask for photos so I asked if she wanted any and handed about 20 to them and the first picture was of us and our dog so we chatted even more about the dogs. Then she just said thank you and sent us on our way. It felt like it went well but I have no idea!

    🤞🏼

Honestly, I have no idea what the others are talking about 😂

The Supreme Court just allowed the government to make it more difficult to get a green card based on the financial ability to support your spouse. If the immigration officer believe the beneficiary is likely to need public assistance, like food stamps, medcaid etc, they can deny the petition. The minimum requirement for a petitioner will also be 250% of the federal poverty guide lines instead of the 125% it is now.

What I meant was taking 100s pictures with you to the interview while forgetting that they're just secondary evidence. I don't know when you had your interview. I had it just yesterday when supreme court issued their new rulings that allow trump administration to enforce wealth test on new applicants. Whether it's coincidence or not I haven't read people on VJ got grilled a lot about it until I experienced it myself.

That wealth test doesn't really apply to us who filed in March 2019 bc the policy didn't go into effect until October 15th 2019. They may be more investigative about the petitioner's income but we fall under the old policy. I'm hoping they won't grill us about that and it sucks that I make more money than my husband but it doesn't really count!

Forget about massive amount of pictures. They don't care about them. They're more interested if you can prove them the beneficiary will not be on public assistance.  Under new rules they can deny you if you can't prove otherwise. That was the questions we were grilled on. The officer stopped talking about it until we showed her petitioner made enough and we had life, medical, vision, dental insurance

My husband makes almost double what the minimum requirement is and we have superb health insurance, dental and vision and life insurance.
