We legit had the same interview with the same ending results only thing is my status didn’t change to that it still says interview scheduled

We filed my renewal in October and we still didn’t get a NOA yet (It expires in April) in addition omg I didn’t file for the renewal for 131 what should I do I only submitted the work permit

The officer asked questions based on the application they had in front of them. They also asked for evidence of our relationship and if there were any updates such as any children, change in employment or anything else. Hello to all I just got a regular ID from the DMV currently awaiting my permit to come in the mail as well but what I notice was that on my ID it says Temporary Visitor. I’m currently filing in New York I have my work permit and my social just waiting on an interview date. 
The question is I’m I suppose to have temporary visitor (next to it it has my work permit expiration date) on my permit/license

I thought of a great idea of how the USCIS could continue to process AOS cases. Zoom! Yes Zoom interviews, it only makes sense than just letting cases pile up! They could create a link where we could upload any documents they need during the video interview call.

Hi Sarge! Long time! Hope all is well with you and your family. My husband USC had a good question. As you know we did the K1 Visa process I had the interview & medical in my home country however my fiancé at that time wasn’t able to attend. They did however drilled me! lol we’re in the AOS phase I just recently got approve for my EAD & AP. With your guess base on what I just briefly told you is there a possibility of an interview waiver? My I-485 status updated 65 days ago to (interview ready to be scheduled)

Yup! I received that same letter yesterday I think the USCIS just wanted to give everyone an update because most of us filers had “case was received” for the AP and “fingerprints were applied..” for the work permit when in fact both are just one card. So basically I think they want both updates to synchronize 

Hola just received an update two days ago case ready to be scheduled! Let’s go New York! I slipped in The other New York AOS 2018 thread and it seems like everyone If not most are completed with their interviews! And seem like they’re starting 2019

I just found this group that I have been looking for lol. We filed our AOS since 11/08/2020 received an RFE because we had one page in our form that was from the expired version of the form. Anyway, We sent the correct forms and our case has been updated that they received the new forms and will continue to process the case. We are still waiting on our EAD as well. Its so frustrating because a lot of people have already received their cards and have their case scheduled for an  interview. 

 

I guess i'm just happy I can vent here till they answer us

Double check your computer for the forms you filled out. I knew my RFIE was coming because i submitted this form.

Had an RFIE for incorrect affidavit of support form. We ended up having to re submit supporting documents so we sent in the federal income tax return for 2018 but this time my husband submitted a version that only have 8 pages. The first time it had 132 pages. I’m mortified now because I don’t know what to expect. We got updated stating they received our response 10 days ago but no further update.

We submitted 2018 Tax return and stated in the cover letter that we didn’t file as yet

Same submitted my response to RFIE on Thursday my status just changed to them receiving it today.

My RFIE is similar I submitted the wrong affidavit of support. We sent in W2’s 2017,2018,2019 the recent tax income for 2018 because my husband didn’t file for 2019 yet along with Pay stubs, A copy of his passport page, birth certificate and a cover letter

I submitted the wrong affidavit of support form (form I-134) that one was for the K1 VISA  meanwhile in my cover letter and everything else I wrote form I-864 sigh but my husband (yes I’m blaming HIM!) lol had form I-134 on his laptop and we ended up using that without reading.

You’re not alone I got my RFIE notification last Saturday and we still haven’t receive it in the mail I guess it takes time (meanwhile I know exactly what my RFIE is for ..I’m ready to just send in the evidence now without waiting for the mail). However, when you do get the mail and send back your evidence there’s a quick response  from them.
