Update guys. I finally got my green card in hand. My Journey has ended but a word of encouragement don’t give up hope and keep on fighting. If you have a lawyer you got to be behind them with everything in your benefit and if you don’t have a lawyer just ask questions here and you will get an answer. 

@Optimistic1986 @BestChampion a little more patience..you'll be pleasantly surprised when it comes because it will. It's a process..takes time but it will come! I know how you feel...anxiety and all! 👍 just hang in there sweeties😘

Hi Folks,  I didn't have a meetup in the past 2 years with the visa journey's members, I used to have every year, but I will have a picnic in  Central Park(NYC) on June 15, 2019 at 1.30pm. Let me know please who wants to be, send me a pm ok. Please bring some blanket or towel and some typical food from your home country if possible, or any other food, we will share the food. You can bring who you want(kids, mother, friend)
 
You must be there on time, otherwise, you have to find us there. I had a meetup in Central Park years ago and it was a nightmare because my phone didn' stop ringing because a lot of people couldn't find us inside the park and I could not enjoy the picnic.

In every solution that I can think of, my lawyer is quick to turn it down yet quick enough to receive all the checks that my sister has been paying. It worries me a lot that my mom can’t travel and that she has this illness. I just want to be able to support her needs. It’s excruciating to wait, I am not complaining at all but in times like this esp if it’s our mom or dad who’s sick, it makes me so depress and beyond frustrated. Thank you for your encouragement! I do appreciate it

Lol honey..don't use my case to judge! There were folks who got approved in as little as 14months...I guess the officer that handled mine drank so much coffee..told a lot of jokes and went on vacations before deciding to set me free😏😕😂😂 yours hopefully will go faster!

Holy mackerel -- I had no idea.  I appreciate this knowledge.  Our rightfully anxious friends in this thread who may feel personally ignored as human beings can now pray hard for the Vermont officers who are probably trying their best to make progress under the overwhelming circumstances.

I don't have my file here right now as I’m not home but I will share it once I get home this week. My PF came fast according to my lawyer compared to other cases that they were working on. But it’s a case to case basis. As far as I can remember, I think a month or two it came but I’ll double check.

Thank you for responding @MGJ_NY. Mine was filed on 9/4/18. I went to the interview alone last 7/18 and my application was denied bec the local USCIS center can’t adjudicate VAWA cases. My EAD expired last month😭.

Hi @Favoured Queen👑 thank you for your reply and encouragement. It felt like my hopes went into a nosedive. I thought my EAD would come sooner as it shows Vermont’s current processing time is at 9/18. It’s crushing me. I lost my job and couldn’t get a regular job. Did you go through the same process? Can you please share your timeline and experiences? I am new to this forum so I am gathering information and facts from VAWA filers. I truly appreciate this @FavouredQueen
