After me EAD Renewal was sent back to USCIS I feel how my hope get back away AGAIN. But I’m trying to stay positive🙏🏻

Most attorneys are fear mongers/vendors etc so pay them no mind! Nothing like that will happen! Unhealthy thoughts..fears..worries can mess up people's minds! Focus on positive and fulfilling things instead. I learnt that from counselling. Never underestimate the power of positivity. Besides these are mere speculations..😀always look on the bright side!💖👍

Folks as you know every year I have a meetup with some survivors of abuse, last year was in Central Park, NYC. It was great,t but this year due to the Covid19 I will not meet the survivors, but next summer probably I will have the meetup in Texas. I keep postponing Texas,lol but I have a lot of people there that I handled their Vawa petitions.
 
This year so far I had 63 VAWA cases approved(Visa Journey's members), plus 98 private cases approved. 60% of the cases from Visa journey's members I worked pro bono.
 
USCIS, as usual, is acting crazy. I have cases filed in May and June 2019 approved, but I have cases filed in  2018 still pending adjudication, then do not be discouraged if you filed your VAWA in 2018.

As I said many times here, USCIS is damn messy when someone changes the address, it's a nightmare.Ask the congressperson to inquire USCIS on your behalf about this mistake.

Just wonder.
My EAD Expedition request was approved 2 weeks ago.
Status was.”You request of expedition approved”
Than it changed to “Card being produced”
And 9 days ago it’s changed to “Case was approved”
Os it supposed to be like that?
And for how long should I expect my EAD card?
USCIS have a troubles with issuing and with time frames.
Does someone get them lately.
Please share your timeline please.

I was complaining over my EAD Renewal 
for so long here and finally yesterday my expedition request was approved!🙏🏻
 
I can’t describe how happy I was! And I’m now.
So. Senator was involved and they helped me.
I sent them job offer and they did all “dirty” job😅
 
Im so happy! For the last couple of months of expecting I was struggling so much! It was incredible stressful.
While I was waiting I lost my sleep. 
But. I know Universe did it with some purpose.
Guys! thank you very much for your support! Somewhere in a middle of the way I was ready to give up! But you were so supportive!!!
Now.
Everything what about VAWS send it TO VERMONT! By default! Because we his delay was part of my fault.
And second. If someone of you in the same situation just contact your senator and ask about help. Ask twice if needed. 
Wish you guys great weekend and how awesome it will be if everyone who is “pending” will get approval very fast!!!

Dear guys, 
My I-485 got approved and card production is in place for me and my daughter without an interview.😂
I believe Corona virus played in my favor. It seems like they are cleaning their desks to reduce a backlog.
I've filed I-485 on November 20,  2019 with medicals, hoping that it will speed up the process.
My VAWA was approved February 14, 2019 after 2 years of waiting. Before that my first I-485 was denied and I've never even had an interview in a first place.
That is a blessing, that I wish for all of you awaiting your VAWA approval and Green cards.
Let's hope we will see more approvals coming our way!

Applicants living in the U.S are exempt of the executive order  issued in April 2020.
 

I just saw this today in the USCIS page 😕“Beginning June 4, 2020, certain USCIS field offices, application support centers and asylum offices will resume non-emergency face-to-face services to the public. USCIS has enacted precautions to prevent the spread of COVID-19 in reopened facilities:
Visitors may not enter a USCIS facility if they: Have any symptoms of COVID-19, including cough, fever or difficulty breathing; Have been in close contact with anyone known or suspected to have COVID-19 in the last 14 days; or Have been individually directed to self-quarantine or self-isolate by a health care provider or public health official within the last 14 days. Visitors may not enter the facility more than 15 minutes prior to their appointment (30 minutes for naturalization ceremonies). Hand sanitizer will be provided for visitors at entry points.  Members of the public must wear facial coverings that cover both the mouth and nose when entering facilities. If they do not have one, USCIS may provide one or the visitor will be asked to reschedule their appointment. There will be markings and physical barriers in the facility; visitors should pay close attention to these signs to ensure they follow social distancing guidelines. Individuals may also have to answer health screening questions before entering a facility.  Individuals are encouraged to bring their own black or blue ink pens.”

It’s just a standard respond. Meaning that it still processing and they cannot give any other answer yet. 
I got the same. 

They HAVE TO take this extension in consideration. They can tell you whatever they want but it’s simply says what it says “you can use it for work”. I had the same issue. My boss was doubting first but than after she searched for some information she took it.
Do not hesitate and stand for your rights! 
You can work with this 180 days extension 

Go up the supervisory chain until you find someone with authority who DOES understand.

That’s  what I was thinking because it was clear to me but when she start to push me in another way and telling me I was wrong I wanted to check. 
I contacted our senator office and they did inquiry but ISCIS sent a standard answer “we are trying to process cases in time but some of them might be reviewing longer”-something like this.
 
I screwed at the very beginning sending it to Chicago instead of Vermont. My mistake. 
I sent inquiry to Vermont. Can you advice me if I did right or should I send it to NBC?
Im trying to figure out where is my case at at this point but USCIS didn’t answer me back on my expedition request I sent two months ago and I’m still waiting for the answer on my own inquiry to USCIS (our of processing time).
Im kind of confused now.

Thank you for your answer. Yes. I screwed a bit sending  it to Chicago instead of Vermont. 
now I’m paying for my mistake.
So people. DO NOT DO THE SAME I DID OR YOU WILL BE WAITING FOR YOUR EAD FOREVER!!!

You have a pending I-485 then C9 is the right category.The lawyer has no clue about the Immigration Law.  Ask your congressperson to inquire USCIS on your behalf.

you filled under right category but I think you sent your renewal to NBC  causing the delay. you should send your EAD renewal to VSC.

Vermont sent it automatically most of the time, but if more than 3 months has passed you can requested in my case i requested mine second one i never received it automatically.  

I had the same letter and I sent it to the Vermont.
