Hi guys, I have a situation here - after i filed ds260 form its automatically asking police certificate from Finland. I am living in Lithuania and studied in Finland with exchange program for 3 months in 2017. It got me by surprise, because I didn't stayed there longer than 6months and thought it won't be needed. Do you guys have any suggestions what should I do? Try to get pcc from Finland or just write explanation letter to nvc about it? Thanks!

If I were you, I would request for thr PCC from finland, to avoid delays.

No my question is, do I have to have a cc date  in order to see what time frames my embassy is interviewing on in the “case complete to interview form” I know that I can not choose my interview dates, I just want to know the time frame of when interviews are scheduled for my husband’s embassy so I can plan to attend. For example; will my embassy schedule 1 month or 2 months after cc date.... just want to know how I can find that out that’s all.

Oh my bad! Best thing to do will be to have a look at the immigration timelines  of people who have interviewed at your country Consulate.

And no you don't have to have a cc to see the time frames.

Hello. Would I have to have my cc dates in order to view the interview scheduling times for my embassy (Ankara, Turkey)?  I’m trying to prepare ahead and that’s why I follow this group.

I have just seen that you are applying for IR1/CR1 visa, your interview would be scheduled with the Consulate by NVC. You will not be able to choose specific interviews dates as would be, if you were applying for a tourist or K1 fiance visa

Unsure if this is the place for it...

After waiting 101 days of AP, our interview was on Nov 29th 2018, and sent a message via ustraveldocs from me asking where our status is at to help with this pain of waiting, and gave details that the paperwork they sent to hubby said our ap should only last 2-3 weeks, and a few other things as well..... Yesterday we were told in Russian, that our visa was approved and it will be sent out to him in 2-3 days. This morning our status changed to Issued, after 106 days of AP.

    Congrats

    Hi All,

I have just one simple question :

Can I schedule Medical Exam using the interview date email which I got from NVC or I have to wait for NVC Packet 4 ?

I heard that official interview letter is required at the time of Medial exam.

    Thanks,

I had my medical examination today, I used printed the email interview letter from NVC, and I was able to get my examination done.

Finished this long process and arrived in the US with my 2 kids Aleah and Armie last week Wednesday, posting our timeline for others to estimate processing times. I am the US petitioner, my Filipino wife stayed in the US while I went to Philippines to escort my kids to their embassy interview and bring them to the US. We got a 221g RFE requesting IRS tax transcripts, despite the fact we brought past 4 years W2's including 2018, past 3 years 1040's, past 6 months pay-stubs, and letter from employer stating hire date job title and annual salary, causing me to stay in Philippines 5 weeks to complete the embassy phase of processing. I also was harassed at Manila airport 20 minutes and Los Angeles airport 1.5 hours by immigration officers asking repeatedly why the mother was not traveling with the kids even after I made clear my wife stayed in the US with our 10 month old baby girl and despite the fact I had presented all required travel and consent documents and Philippine embassy power of attorney, and that their mother was waiting at Los Angeles LAX terminal for our arrival.
