    Dear Everyone

Mine and my husbands true journey is just beginning!

    🥳

My CR1 visa was ISSUED today.

    Praise be !!! 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾

Our I-130 was received on March 22nd 2018, so today March 11th 2019 we see the fruits of our hard labour!

I really want to thank EVERYONE who has helped me here on Visa journey.

Honestly guys I would have been so lost and discouraged in this process if not for you.

From the bottom of my heart , THANK YOU!  ❤️❤️❤️❤️

I want to encourage anyone who is still waiting or just starting the process to keep the faith! It happens. The journey does come to an end. A very good end !

I will depart U.K. at the end of the month 🥳🥳🥳🥳

Always still available to help anyone.

I pick my passport from the courier office on Thursday. I will document if there is anything worth sharing.

Hi guys please what is probability of Nigeria getting eligible for the dv lottery again. Thanks

Nigerians will be eligible for the US DV lottery if and when fewer than 50,000 total of its natives will have immigrated to the United States in the previous five years, which is basically impossible considering the population of the country is way over 100Million and there are tons of people immigrating to the USA from Nigeria yearly.

I’m am CR1. My hubby is a US citizen. Maybe it’s diffe if you’re not CR1. In my case :

They only needed to see the original civil documents of the person immigrating to USA. So the IV applicant/ beneficiary.

I am the beneficiary and I took all my original civil documents. All of them where inspected.

I had with my husband notorised photocopy of his USA passport , photocopy of his IRS tax transcripts  and scanned print of AOS.

They did not ask me for any of these documents.

People please still take them with you as you just never know what the CO may ask you for. Some people have been asked to show these three documents mentioned above.

    Thanks for the clarification,

Once more congrats to all my Aug applicants who got approved today..im super happy ...we came along way..

However there is a little set back with my hubby's case..the CO asked few basic questions..which he answered..she asked to see pictures..hubby gave her..she asked for 2017 transcript...while my husband was getting it...the CO said to him..pls drop it off at dhl...the line is getting long ..so my husband said here..i have it...she insisted on him to drop it off a DHL office..so he received a white form..

With check mark..to submit AOS n transcript...what makes me annoyed is..he has all those documents with him..the co was in a rush after she went through our albums ..anyway he will drop it off tomorrow morning..

    So unfair!

I can't wait to break this news. I finally got an approval this morning after a long time of waiting for an appointment. It was the simplest of all the stages. I got approved within 3 minutes. I return the glory to God. Thank you so much Visa Journey family/thank you August/September CC friends (Lagos). You all have been so great. Awaiting more good reports from others who are still in the interview room. To those waiting for  an appointment, I wish you speed too. Just be rest assured that it will come. Thank you all.

    Congrats!!

You might try using the search function of this web site.  There are many experiences regarding that embassy.  Lagos is, historically, a difficult consulate.  Good luck.

Hello, yes I noticed. However I thought it would be nice to see the experience of people who have interviewed this year at the Lagos/Abuja embassy. There is not much information about interviews that has been happening since January 2019, I reckon some things may have changed, it would be nice to know what if they have. Just to help others.

All approved except one today March 1

My joint Sponsor is married filing jointly so they asked for he husband’s W2. On the I1864a form they ask the household members relationship with the sponsor. Are they asking relationship to me or the joint sponsor? The i864a form is for my joint sponsor’s husband.

Are you the sponsor(petitioner) or the Applicant(beneficiary), they are asking for the relationship between the joint-sponsor and the petitioner.

My joint sponsor is married with 3 kids. But I wrote 2 that's only I and him in the number of household size, excluding his family. Do you think is a problem because I think I should have  write 6 as household size instead of 2. Pls help

I think you are to include as part of household. The sponsor and his spouse, and all dependent unmarried children under the age of 21.
