I have my N400 Scheduled before my 1751 removal of conditions interview. My interview is scheduled to hold in Chicago... can anyone advice if I should be calling USCIS to make sure my 1751 is scheduled first? or does the Chicago office conduct combo interviews.

Most likely to do with your visa type, CR1. You have been assigned the MSC center, I assume? I haven't come across anyone on CR1 assigned to MSC had their biometric waived, though they may exist in some rare cases (I doubt, but possible).
Thanks for letting me know, and you are correct it’s CR1 assigned to MSC.

Hi All, Looking at the google sheet for April Filers, it looks like everyone got their biometric requirement waived. I got a letter today asking me to attend an Application support center to have my biometrics taken, Just curious, does anyone know why this requirement is waived for some and required for some?

Hello all, I didn’t realize the biometric fee was compulsory, could anyone enlighten me ? I figured biometrics were already taken before getting CR1

When did you enter the US, time is counted from that day, not when you paid for it if you paid before entering US.

Just to update those who are interested to know how long it takes to get the actual permanent resident card Aka "greencard".
After getting approved at the Lagos Consulate April 1,2019.
I paid the sum $220 on April 5, 2019, recieved the actual card today June 20, 2019. It took me approximately 75days.

You already paid your immigrant fee of $220? If so, you should have been given a receipt number to track your green card status. The number to call USCIS is the same number you've gotten accustomed to: (800) 375-5283. There's no special department to talk to at USCIS.
Hello,
Yes I paid the fee since April 5, 2019 when I track it, I get the message saying I will recieve it within 120days, I have however been told it doesn't take that long.
Thanks a lot for the help. 🙂

According to USCIS, you should give them a call if it's been 45 days since you entered the country.
"If you have paid the USCIS Immigrant Fee, you will receive your Green Card in the mail after you arrive in the United States. If you do not receive your Green Card within 45 days of your arrival, please call our USCIS Contact Center at 800-375-5283 or make an InfoPass appointment to visit your local USCIS field office."
Thank you so much

I already got my SSN, I walked into a local social security office and got it processed, it was sent to my house in 4days.

Congratulations dear. Your pd and your embassy please
I don't think u need a really big album I only went with like 30 photos and I put them in a document that had all my other documents, when the CO asked I took them out and gave to her without an album.

Hi All, Happy Tuesday! I also had my interview today in Montreal, Canada. I was approved!
I know there has been some confusion on the Tax Transcripts now that we are past April 15th. I only had to provide the tax transcript we submitted to NVC and the W2 for that year as well. I was over prepared with the extension paperwork for 2018, and tax transcripts for 2016 as well as 2015 - but they were not needed.
Just some advice, try to be organized before you go. I did see many people struggling with a stack of disorganized paperwork that were sent away from the first step as they did not have the correct paperwork ready!
Good luck to all of those waiting for interviews! It was not nearly as stressful as I thought it may be.
Congratulations

just a question though, do you guys have any idea on to when visa will be available after interview? i was hoping my husband would get to be here in the US by June 8th. Do you guys think its possible since his interview is on May 6th?
Very possible, my visa was issued 1 day after my interview, meaning it was printed a day after my interview, and I was able to pick it up 2days after from DHL, making a total of four (4) days from approval to having Visa and passport in hand.

For which year have to bring W-2 to the interview?
Any answer is appreciated 🙏🏻
I advice you to go with W2's and tax transcripts for three of the most recent years. They usually don't ask for the W2's but go with them still.

If you have 2018, you should go with it, last three most recent years are 2018,2017 & 2016.

@DamilolaA kindly help me with this. Did you book biometric appointment separately before your interview? Thanks
Hello, I'm so sorry for replying late. I have just seen this. Your biometric information will be taking at the Consulate at the time of your interview. You do not need to book a separate biometric appointment.

No you do not need to book a separate appointment.
