    I think now that I am a crusty old poot, I honestly dont think I can be offended. I dont really follow the news much anymore and honestly I am not read in on most of what yall talk about here. I certainly now look back at how worked up we use to get about the foolishness in here as quite absurd. I can say the only time I really saw red in here is one someone called a certain poster a war criminal. That got me triggered. If that had happened in person it would have been a problem -----Anger is the punishment we give ourselves for someone else's mistake-----

    I am different than many, in that I usually try to understand why someone thinks a certain way even if I don't agree with their opnion. You seriously can't understand why some would find the term Redskins offensive even if you don't agree?

    I went into Infantry basic training as a snug 38 wearing . Got spit out 13 weeks and 3 days of hot Ft. Benning summer a slim size 31. I lived in a small town then. I walked into the bank. My neighbor teller who had known me all my life asked for ID. Many did not recognize me. I have to admit it was a good feeling. On the flip side I looked like I had just crawled out of a concentration camp. I was weak and guant.
