I just looked at our NOA and it looks like we were actually late october filers. So wrong thread, sorry!
-
We had completed the fingerprints on nov 25th and still haven't gotten any word from USCIS. Any reason to worry?

Yes! Congrats to you as well! I'm guessing that since you got your status change on Friday, we'll get ours on Monday. My fiance thinks he was probably the last K-1 interview of the day on Wednesday.
Oh, I think my fiancee was one of the earlier ones. In that case maybe she met someone else. Her interview was around 1030A

Hello friends! I'm late with an update here. But my fiance had his interview on Wednesday and it went well! He got the "congratulations, you're approved" line, of course with the caveats that if something comes up during processing they'd contact him.
Here were the questions he remembers getting asked during the interview:
* What is your beneficiary's name?
* How did you meet her?
* What were you doing in Europe when you met? (this was a follow up question -- we met randomly in a bar in Scotland)
* How long had you been together before the proposal?
* Has she visited Argentina?
* How long was your longest visit to the US?
* What are her parents' names?
* What does she do for a living?
* What are your wedding plans?
* What kind of phone does she have? (The officer asked this question while looking at my screencaps of our WhatsApp conversations)
* In which city does she live?
* What do you do for a living?
* What are the things you have in common with each other?
* Have you ever exchanged gifts? What were they?
The officer also said he couldn't find my fiance's police certificate in the packet (which is weird, because it was definitely there). Fortunately my fiance had another copy with him, so he just handed it over and that was fine.
My fiance said that the officer asked all of these questions while thumbing through the pages of the P3/129F packets. Basically, each question seemed to be based on whatever page was in front of him.
The interview was in Spanish and took about 10 minutes.
So we are very happy, of course! We just hope that the passport arrives in Cordoba soon. Our case is still listed as being in Administrative Processing in the CEAC tracker, though. I hope they mail the passport as soon as that status changes! @andreaam, I'm curious: did DHL notified you when your passport got put into the mail? And how long was it between that notification and you receiving the passport in Cordoba?
Congrats on your approval! I think my fiancee met yours at the embassy since our interviews were on the same day, I'm glad we both got through. For us, the AP lasted 2 days, our status changed to issued on Friday but I know AP typically lasts a week or two for most people.

Yes! Same timeline. Maybe we'll get similar interview dates, too!
I'm feeling optimistic about getting the P3 email soon (maybe early/mid next week?). I used the DHL tracker hack that is outlined in all those NOA2-->NVC threads over in the K1 forum. It looks like our paperwork made it down to Buenos Aires a couple hours ago! So the package just has to get picked up from the sort facility by a courier and delivered to the embassy sometime today. I doubt we'll get the P3 email tomorrow, since it seems to take a few days for the embassy to process things. But next week seems certain! (Incidentally, I compared this shipment to the similar one from two weeks ago -- that one arrived on a Friday, but ours is arriving on a Thursday. One day closer!)
Took just under a week for us to get the p3 email after they received it. Just keep an eye on the ceac tracker

So for packet 3 how much "evidence of relationship" do I send. Should I send the entire proof originally included in the I-129F packet plus more recent proof as well?

Last P3 that I have from BA embassy was dated 9/2018. Is your copy newer?
Yes

Received an email with packet 3 instructions pdf from the Immigration Unit of the Buenos Aires Embassy this morning. 5/13/2019

Our case status now shows ready online. The problem is that my fiance is visiting family and is not home right now. Is there a time frame on when the packet 3 information must be sent to the embassy? I'm getting anxious because It's going to be a minimum of 2-weeks until we can send in the information.
-
Our case status shows ready but my fiance is currently visiting family and not at home. How long can we wait before sending in everything for packet 3?
-
Just to tag onto my last post, am I (The US Citizen) able to pay the MRV K-1 fee online? I am going to be wiring my fiance money for everything and want to know how much to send. AFAIK the two major things we will need to pay for are the MRV fee and the medical related fee's correct?
-
Case status ready! Time for packet 3 and then the interview. I'm soo excited and yet so nervous.
How long can we wait until we start sending in info for packet 3? (like proof of relationship, affidavit of support stuff etc)

Sorry. I still have question. Did you called NVC for the Case #? Ugh! My NOA2 was April 26 but still no update. 😢
I waited until I received an email with the case number. Your case can sit at the NVC for quite a while so just continue to call every few days to check in on it. They will let you know if there's anything you need to do. Don't worry too much

Nvc received 4/24/19
case# assigned 5/1/19
btw, USCIS websites still only show NOA1 application received.
The old site shows that it's still at NOA1 for me as well but the new site shows NOA2. I wouldn't worry about it, I'd go off of calls/emails/ceac.state.gov from this point.

May I ask please if NVC email you that case is ready of you called them? Thanks a lot!!
Neither me or my fiance received an email regarding it being ready at the embassy. Last email I received was the NVC telling me my case number and that it was leaving the NVC and heading to the embassy. I've been using the tracker on state.gov to check it's status. https://ceac.state.gov/CEACStatTracker/Status.aspx?

My case status is ready!

Thank you so so much for the detailed post! Our case is In-Transit and this is the exact post we needed to read.

Received email from NVC saying the case is being sent to the embassy in Buenos Aires.
NOA2 - 4/3/2019
NVC - 4/30/2019

Just received NOA2 through mail. December filers are rolling through! Good luck everyone

U have conflicting dates. Noa1 on timeline says 12/24 and here u say its 12/29?
Yeah for some reason both sites show different NOAs. At first I was using the old site which shows 12/24 but on the new site it shows 12/29. I don't really get why, at first I was worried that I typed in the wrong petition ID but that wasn't the case.

Just letting everyone know, I got approved today! I am so overwhelmed and excited right now.
NOA 1 Dec, 29, 2018
NOA 2 April, 3, 2019
Just to let you guys know, I did not receive any notifications. No emails, no text, no mail yet. The old USCIS didn't show the update that it was approved but the new one did! So keep an eye on both sites just in case.
Not sure how to edit my post but it looks like I did indeed receive an email at 5am.
