Hi everyone we finally sent our case in on October 4th and I haven’t heard anything back yet .. it’s probably early but im reading people getting text messages of acceptance within 5 -6 days. Happy to be here and read everyone’s experience.

Heya! We are on the same timeline!  We haven't heard anything yet and the check also hasn't been cashed.. hopefully we will get updates soon and let you know as soon as! Thanks!

Recieved the case numbers for I-485 and I-765 via text today :) When I check the case status on USCIS' website, for I-765 it says "cas was recieved" but for I-485 it says " fingerprint fee was recieved". Is this how it's supposed to be?

Awesome!  Could you let us know when you sent it in? Ours was delivered to the Chicago Lockbox on Monday and they haven't texted... just wanted to see timelines :) thanks!!!

This is not the correct place to ask that question, but yes, you need to fill out each application form separately and follow the instructions. Each form asks for specific things. You need to supply those things in each checklist, as they are separate applications. Good luck!

Oh sorry. Didn't find another forum to ask it on so yeah. Thanks! Good luck, everyone!

Yeah emailed them twice. First time they said they didnt have space, second time was mar 27 saying it's processing in their post and they'll email with interview information when processing is complete.

    Did you email them?

I did email them once and got my NVC case updated on the 3rd of April.  I hope you get yours soon, too!

  5. We just got our Case Number today too!!! Praise God!

Another thing I though that was worth sharing is that I got an ABD# instead of a MNL#-- despite indicating on our I-129F that I would be applying the visa in the Manila Embassy. (I live and work in Dubai and we put my Dubai Address down in the form, too)-- I am guessing they assumed since I live there, it would be the embassy I would go to.

Which is great because I am in Manila for the past 2 weeks, hoping that the MNL# comes through but I am due to fly back to Dubai on the 17th so this worked out really great, thank God!

I called this morning and nice lady said it would be another week.

Thanks so much for this info! We got our NOA2 on the 5th Feb and we are so happy we are on this boat! Yayyy!

Thanks to @Greenbaum for all the details!  Am I in the right when I assume that once we call in and get the MNL# i can proceed with all the scheduling of:

    1. the SLEC Medical
    2. Interview
    3. CFO?

I look forward to your advice!

    Thanks!
