It's a bit too much city for me too. I was born and raised on acreage, so we are hoping to find some property in a small town in the next couple years.
I am still so elated that this nightmare chapter is over. Dancing on air happy!

Ok, I ran some reporting tools for Ukraine petitioners who have had an interview date entered in their timeline. I went back one year and only found maybe 2 or 3 who had to wait longer than a month (from the time the consulate received the case from the NVC to the reported interview date).
For the aforementioned '2 or 3', these people could have miskeyed their interview date. Or maybe they got it right but their wait was extended due to personal circumstances. One was something like a 3 month wait. I have to think that fell under special circumstances. Or it was a miskey. Pretty much all other petitioners had their interview in the 1-3 week timeframe.
Furthermore, I did a search of 2018 spring/summer petitioners (i.e. those people whose cases were received by the consulate in May, June, July and August of 2018) and found similar results so there didn't appear to be a summer staffing issue last year that created longer durations.
I will contact the embassy in Kiev on Monday. It could be something strange happened like 1/2 the staff played the lottery recently AND WON! Otherwise, I have to believe the calendar is not fully updated for the month of June and/or July. Stranger things have happened.

Hello, i would like to thank @Greenbaum and this group for helping me and my fiance, for answering our questions and giving advices. My visa got approved today. ❤❤❤
The documents that was taken from me on pre-screening:
Appoinent confirmation
Passport
Birth certificate
Certificate of No Marriage
Police clearance/NBI
Medical Result
MRV slip/ visa fee receipt
Ds-160
During the final interview, the consul didn't ask me any other proof, just my DS-160. Question was just the following:
Tell me about your fiance.
What is his job?
Where is he connected?
How many times did he visit you?
How did you meet?
How many times did he visit you?
She didnt ask me to submit the affidavit of support or anything else but its really good to be prepared because its case to case basis. Some of the applicants, they were asked to submit different types of documents. Its really easy when you just follow the instructions correctly and also make sure that your documents are conistent, it helps a lot.
Again, thank you for all your help in this group and i wish everyone of us gets approved.. ❤❤❤

Maybe because the hack instructions indicate that you have to wait at least 24 hours for DHL information is synchronized with CEAC. Oy Vey.

Yesterday I sent another email to the consulate asking for an update (since they never responded to me since the accidental reply mishap), and the USC sent an email to his Senator requesting an inquiry.
Today I personally received a phone call from the person at the Visa Unit who is handling my case.
She said that she wanted to call me to tell me she is sending me an email and she wanted me to know so I look for it right away. They have received my new passports and are going to do everything possible to get my my visas reissued promptly. But unfortunately everything that went along in the sealed package with my missing passports, are also missing (obviously), and that I need to send them ALL my original documents + photocopies of everything I presented at the interview (Birth Certificates, Divorce Certificate, Divorce Decree, Custody orders for the kids, new passport photos for the visas, another copy of the criminal record check, etc) and they are contacting the medical examiner's office themselves to get another copy of our medical exams directly.
Why the heck wouldn't they ask me to send all that stuff when they asked me to send the new passports?? smh.
Anyways, she assured me that my file wasn't leaving her desk, and she instructed me to get all those things into the mail ASAP and told me what to write on the envelope so that it doesn't sit in the mail room.
She said that if I get it into the mail today, it would reach the Consulate on Tuesday. But because Monday is a holiday for them, she won't receive it until Wednesday. She said she is expediting everything so I will hopefully receive my new visas for the 4th of June.
I sent everything off today. Fingers crossed there's no more messing around and I indeed get my stuff back as quickly as they say.

If you would have taken the time to read just a little bit of this thread you would understand the relationship that @brandonflude1 and i have. I really don't care what your opionion is. I spend many hours giving help to others and they seem to appreciate my responses. I'll move on from this I hope you do the same.

Thank you for that explanation. I was just sitting here wondering "wth!" I thought I had everything down and then got thrown for a loop. I know that DHL hasn't delivered, but case switched to ready.

@Greenbaum, thank you for posting the links for the Canadian needs again. I have all of that but I've got it printed off for my own reference. You just snap your fingers and there it is. You must be a magician! @StephanieB Greenbaum just gave you all the links you need to make you aware of the exact documents you need for the next few steps.

In transit to Montreal today!!!
When I tried the DHL hack the other day for the April 30th shipment it showed 4 cases being sent to MTL and the trip there only took 1 day...so if there are any other fellow US/Canadian petitioners in this shipment that gives you a little info.

You have to wait for your case to be shipped to the appropriate consulate/embassy. Then you will get your P3 packet which details doing your DS-160, getting your confirmation code from that, scanning and e-mailing the embassy. They will then send you P-4 info that gives you instructions on scheduling your medical and interview.

It means that your visa is at the NVC! Next they will ship it to the embassy in your country/region. When they do that, where it says "At NVC" will say "In Transit" I believe!

Personal note to the April Filers who are now in transit.
1. You'll did a good job. You got to this point following tips from the first post and from your friends here in this thread. To those who helped along the way I would like to give a big shout out to you for your help. But we failed together to get the word out to others who didn't have such a smooth trip. Let's do better when we move onto the next thread. GREENBAUM, what next thread?
2. You all should be in your sub-forum for you regions or countries. There are so many more people there that know the ins and outs, the short cuts and are willing to share them with you. All you have to do is make the effort to find the thread so... Go up to the blue ribbon at the top of the page and select "forums" and scroll about 3/4 of the page down and you will see the links. Your participation in this thread is over. We can't help you anymore because we who are here are from Germany, Latvia, Cuba, Mexico and other country's too many to list. We can't help you. We are trying to get our arms around our own embassy requirements and we haven't taken the time to know yours. Good luck and we all wish you Gods Speed to your visa.
3. I'm chuckling to my self because I have only had one person ask me for the P3 for their country. That one person read all the way through the "buckle up" post I made. His life just got way easier while you are here asking duh what do I do now. Sorry, just had to laugh.
4. During this whole trip you have made it so hard on yourself. Calling to USCIS and NVC from home your fiancé's home and wasting all that time. When in the end USCIS gave you what you asked for and that was a answer to your application. The NOA2! Then you went on the hunt for the case number which most embassies don't let you schedule ahead till you have the case number in letter/paper form. So what kind of unneeded stress to you place on yourself. Did you move the needle on your case. MAYBE a week. I hope you have a little more willpower when you apply for your AOS.
So to my April friends...
adiós, adieu, addio, adeus. ... aloha. ... arrivederci. ... ciao. ... auf Wiedersehen. ... au revoir. ... bon voyage. ... sayonara.
and all the best to you. Safe travels.

Another case of damn if they do it fast and damn if the don't do it fast. USCIS just can't win!

Look at it this way...your case is moving way faster than you anticipated when you first initially filed the petition isn't it? You got your NOA2 in a little over 3 months rather than the estimated 5.5 to 7 months, not to mention the fact that you got your case # assigned 4/26 which makes it too late to ship at the end of April. My guess is it will go out with the shipment next week. This is a waiting game and takes a huge amount of patience, nobody said it would be easy. Do you have all of your documents together for when you get your P3, if not take this time to do so that way when you get the "ready" from your embassy you can send them what they request. Chin up, you are almost on the home stretch and the really long wait is behind you. Don't forget that most of us following this thread are in the same boat as you. As a wise man once told me, "don't overthink this process."

Case is in transit to the embassy and should arrive tomorrow. I have my medical exam on Wednesday, and my interview on the 17th!
I'm so excited!! For anyone in the UK - there's lots of availability for interviews in May so don't worry!
