Congrats! Did you end up rescheduling?
So we had called in to reschedule, but then changed based on the input here.
When I showed up - she was surprised but knew we had put in a request. She told me she was glad I came to interview today as they would have not known how far out the rescheduled date would be and that I made a good decision.
So she cancelled the reschedule request and gave me the interview. She was so nice and amazing. I was so happy to have her as she made me feel calm and explained everything well.

When did you request the reschedule?
This morning around 8am.
we got a notification that the conditions were removed and green card shipped and then we got a notification that the n400 IV was also scheduled.
we didn’t get the letter in the mail but we’re able to see it when we logged into the myuscis webpage

What airline?
Booked I believe through Lufthanasa, but the flights are being operated by Austrian and Swiss as I have enjoyed those carriers. Paid for luggage and seat selection also (-.-)

Good morning Guys and Girls,
We are kind of in a bind and not sure what to do.
We are coming from a K-1 Fiance Visa. We had finished and got the 2 year conditional green card.
So the time for the 2 year conditional green card expired, but we put in an ap to remove the conditions to a 10 year back in Aug of 2021.
The case didnt move in any fashion.
So once the time came - we put in an app for the n-400 in Nov of 2022.
We have had no movement and so, since it has been 3 years for seeing my mother, grandmother - booked ticket to travel overseas to see them 2 weeks ago. Non-refundable of course.Low and behold - We get a notice that Green card is coming in the mail via usps - On the app it shows the i-751 removal of conditions was approved and new GC printed and shipped.
However we also just got a notice that the IV was scheduled for the N-400.
*Drum Roll*The date is exactly when I am overseas.
What recourse do I have?We called USCIS to put in a request to reschedule the interview.
What else should we do?

Negative here. I just check that google spreadsheet from time to time. Seems they could be on Jan/Feb 2021 right now from the way Jan LIN's are showing some completed and Feb LIN's looking like a couple have marked as completed now. I might start checking back in again on a monthly basis. At the spreadsheet completions, I am gonna guess around November-ish. Which is fine by me as I plan on filing the wifes N400 in August as well to hope for a bit of a boost in her N400 processing speed as well lol
The N400 was on our mind also. It’s just annoying seeing some of the results here which is very inconsistent applied across the board.

Anyone else with any updates from LIN that isn’t from Ukraine/Russia?

That 10 year financial commitment though - you should get all these abuses documented and then see if it is possible to have her deported quite frankly. Speak with the lawyer. Something about you entering in good faith only to be deceived and abused. Turn the tables on her. Record her without her knowing. Nanny cams are all the rage.

What the hay.
we filed before you and have not got any word. Also had to retake our biometrics.

No. You have to have resided here for three years as an LPR. https://www.uscis.gov/policy-manual/volume-12-part-g-chapter-3#:~:text=C. 3 Years, her residence.[8]
Thanks!

I thought you can file the n400 3 years from the date of the marriage?
I don’t really feel like to wait til 3rd year of when the first green card was issued.also I don’t understand what the hold up is for LIN. Esp if it was slow before covid.

We had to redo our biometrics....... and no status of biometrics being done like a prior couple stated.
Hoping they still have our file. -
Just sent you a PM - figured better not to post it here.

Any updates?
Have you tried comparing with the other months on the google sheets that is out there? I looked on there and the earliest month I see the CSC/WAC getting their Bio Letters is the May Filers. Seem those who filed in May who got WAC/CSC filed in May and got their Bio Letters in September. Doesn't seem like any of the June filers have updated/received theirs yet.
Hey WIllieT1986 - No updates at all. almost 70 days out.

That's weird. You're LIN and they didn't waive your Biometrics? What was your initial case file? K1? CF something?
The only thing I can think of would be length of time compared to coming to America to filing for AOS to time it took to get the Conditional Green Card to Now.Nope - My filing times are pretty tight. Check my profile out - it is all in there.

Yes, I believe we have to send the money for Biometrics no matter what. Not sure how they determine who is waived, and whos not waived though.
Possibly could be why they're waiving them. Not exactly sure as to why or why not though. Also, they keep the Biometrics Fee. On the letter it states no biometric refund.
1 hour ago, michaelwood87 said:I see a lot of people getting their biometrics waived, is this because of the COVID backlog?
Also - for those that have, do you get the biometrics fee returned (im assuming not)?.
Or it could also be the individual case officer. Seems like mine went to someone on vacation or who is slow. Everyone getting waivers but us.
If the government shuts down again/furloughs - we are in for a long wait.- WFinished and PaulaCJohnny

I-751 August Filers - Removing Conditions
in Removing Conditions on Residency General Discussion
Posted
Sorry - Have not posted here in a while.
ROC application was on 8/2/2021.
Applied also N-400 11/2022.
By Feb - decided to travel to see parents since it was 3 years since last visit.
March 2023 - New Green card + IV scheduled for n400 in middle of travel.
Changed the ticket to come home earlier and make interview.
Green Card Returned - Citizenship granted.
Late March 2023 - Oath ceremony.
Early April 2023 - Certified copy at USCIS with info pass appointment.
US Passport application coming up this week.
Yall should apply for n-400 if you havent and you are on K1 process.
Good luck.
If you get an INTERVIEW in the middle of travel dates - DO NOT RESCHEDULE YOUR INTERVIEW. CHANGE YOUR TICKET - MAKE YOUR INTERVIEW AND BE DONE WITH USCIS. One less thing to deal with in life.
