Im sure a lot depends on where you are located but to give you an idea of when you might get a receipt notice we sent the I-751 petition on 5/25/23 to the Phoenix lockbox. We received an I-797 notice of action from the Nebraska Service Center that the validity of the permanent resident card was extended for 48 months on 6/8/23. Our case status has also changed to "Case Is Being Actively Reviewed By USCIS" after sending the receipt notice. This just means the application is being processed. 

We did receive a separate letter that arrived the same day stating that biometrics could be re-used along with another notice for our daughter (k2 visa) with her online access code.

I don't know your situation but many of us here are going through or have gone through the immigration process ourself or with our loved one. We have all ran into relationship issues at some point and for many of us couples we have dealt with homesickness, relying on 1 income, not being able to drive, blended families, etc. If you have not already done so I would highly encourage you to inquire about some couples counseling or pre-marriage classes. You can find licensed marriage counselors online or if you are of a particular faith through your church. It seems a waste to get this far in the process and just return home. If nothing else, maybe the counseling could help provide a cordial separation and a sense of knowing you both tried your best but it just didn't work out. In the meantime look up some free videos on youtube by Dr. John Gottman and watch them together.He founded many of the studies that modern day relationship counseling and books are based on. I hope everything turns out well for the both of you.

I agree with Hank. Schedule the CFO as soon as possible. The hardest thing for us to schedule was the CFO. They seem to fill up very fast.

Yes, print out two deposit slips, make two payments at BPI      It can take 12-24 hrs after payment before it shows up in your dashboard.

Interview can easily be 2 days after the medical is completed  (medical is a 2 day process normally, K-2 can take 3 days depending on what time the blood test was taken)

And then there is CFO .. if possible get the CGP seminar for your Fiancee done as soon as possible as appt openings can be a month out.  For the child it is PDOS, if 12 or under only need to be registered.

TNJ17 - I wanted to make sure I was understanding that question correctly and it seems I was. I was just concerned that this current petition could be included in the "two or more" part of the instructions. I would rather ask and get a few other opinions than make a mistake and cause problems. That's what we are here for, right? ☺️

Yes - this is only if you've filed two applications previously. If you've only been married once (sponsored once), you're good to go without the waiver.
