It wouldn't hurt to bring your resume to the interview.  But I must say that I have yet to hear of anyone here on VJ who was asked for a resume, as the beneficiary's employment/education really isn't a factor for K1.  As for the discrepancy with the I-129F, just explain that there was a technical issue in completing the relevant section on the DS-160, in case the interviewer asks (I doubt it).  For the interview, I suggest you focus on the petitioner's financials and your relationship evidence.  Good luck!

My wife (fiance at the time) and daughter and her son were interviewed on two separate dates, 6 months apart.  The date available to my wife and her daughter in April 2017 gave about 3 weeks notice.  We only got an interview when we did because someone cancelled and I happened to log on at exactly the right time.  We took what was available.

For her son who came to the U.S. 6 months after my wife and daughter, I began looking for interview dates in mid-October.  At that time, the consulate was posting new interview dates on Fridays around 12:00-1:00pm, Vietnam time.  There were a lot more dates available, with many appearing to go unfilled.  We weren't in a hurry for my son's interview, so waited a few weeks.  We eventually reserved a date that was about 4 weeks away.

Don't worry about booking the medical appointment.  In April and November, Cho Ray had appointments available the same week, even the next day when we called.  The only possible issue would be if your fiance has a child who requires a TB skin test.  My stepdaughter (age 7 at the time) needed a skin test in April, but her 11 year old son had an x-ray in November.  They need to do skin tests Monday-Wednesday, so the test results can be read by Friday.

The hospital did not deliver the results to the consulate, but sent them to my wife and stepson's addresses (HCM City to Da Lat) in less than a week.  My wife and stepson both needed an immunization and those were done the same day after the exam.  Prepare for a LONG day.  My wife was at Cho Ray for 4+ hours and another 3-4 hours at Quarantine Services.  So, you should have plenty of time to choose one of the late March interviews if your fiance can go to Cho Ray early next week.  The biggest issue might be the cost of  the "last minute" airfare to Vietnam from the U.S.

    Good luck! - Jason

Many thanks @JasonGG! Your reply answers all of my question now!

Besides that, I have just heard from my fiancee that some people are required to get vaccinated/immunization (to get the 'yellow paper') in order to have medical examination. This should not be a problem though.

For the plane ticket, I'm planning to flight one-way to Vietnam (costs ~430$), then both of us book another one-way ticket from Vietnam to the US after visa being issued.

    Thanks again Jason!

Ended up with quality US made multi-vitamins, Bengay, Solanpas and Glucosamine and Chondroitin.  Candy for the kiddies and a nice pair of Ray-Ban polarized Aviator sunglasses.  Thanks for all of the tips!

At first when I saw this when researching online I thought it was strange but I have seen similar references to this and also JasonGG's reference to vitamins.  My GF had alluded to things "for her health" but wasn't clear on what to get.  I'll probably go this route.  Thanks all for the suggestions.

I did attend the interview with my then-fiancee but was told to take a seat in the waiting area. I only got called up when the CO wanted to let me know that he had approved her visa and explained that it would take a few days to get the visa.

Some people did get called to the interview booth. Some did not. So the chance is 50/50, or more like 30/70.

Even if they don't allow the petitioner there, they can still give the USC's passport to the beneficiary for the interview as evidence that the petitioner is with them in the country.

I think everyone needs to keep in mind the President of the United States has made it clear that he himself doesn't particularly care if people followed the law to come to this country. In fact, he will soon reward people who came her illegally (60% via illegal border crossing; 40% via overstaying their visas) with work permits and access to Social Security and Medicare. Most members of the United States Senate, both Democrats and Republicans, approve of the President's actions.
It's admirable that we here, and VJ policy, is to obey the law. Admirable, but extremely ironic. Will Petitioners who hit "send" on a computer screen to assist their Beneficiary's processing be prosecuted? Will their fiancés/wives be deported?
My fiancé and I continue to do everything by the law and the instructions of the embassy. We respect Philippines law as well.

anlocnghg reacted to RichP in Why the custom officer at LAX gave my fiance a hard time?
I'm not surprised. My wife had no problem at LAX, but she was later given a VERY hard time at the DMV when she applied for an ID card -- and was refused! The Hispanic manager questioned her Visa and threatened to take it away. She ended up taking the drivers test at another DMV, where she passed and got her drivers license without a problem.
