I passed my road test this monday and I am just so excited to receive my DL in the mailbox 😁 AOS related, no reschedule letter yet from Fresno office 🐢 (been waiting for 2 weeks)

Update. EAD card being produced 17th September. 

What I did I went to E request and called uscis and speak with a Tier 2, You can go to uscis website and find TOOLS try the site https://www.uscis.gov/tools

For EAD and AP it doesn't matter. For your AOS interview, what matters is your field office (see the first page of the thread for how to find yours), not your state; San Francisco is a lot slower than San Diego.

Yay got an email from NVC. Forwarding our case to embassy. 

We have discussed the fact that the cases are sent every other week. You must have missed that convos.  Last shipment was this week. So I guess that means that in two weeks they will send again, Tues/Wed.

Your case is going to take longer to adjudicate. Just have a little more patience. It's not unusually that country's such as yours is looked at a little more closely. See the information below from USCIS.
 
Additional screening and background checks based on country of birth, citizenship, or residency in the “State Sponsors of Terrorism” (T-7) list: Cuba, Iran, Iraq, Libya, North Korea, Sudan, Syria; or from the “List of 26”: Afghanistan, Bahrain, Djibouti, Egypt, Eritrea, Indonesia, Iran, Iraq, Jordan, Kuwait, Lebanon, Libya, Malaysia, Morocco, Oman, Pakistan, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Somalia, Sudan, Syria, Tunisia, Turkey, UAE, Yemen. This is a mandatory stop list and allegedly takes 2 to 4 days, thanks in part to the partially rolled out PATRIOT (Pre-Adjudicated Threat Recognition and Intelligence Operations Team) system managed by ICE, but often take 3 to 6 weeks and if there is a hit who knows how long.

Wow Congrats that was fast Ours NoA2 Nov. 20 we have case number already but Im not sure where to will I know when it was received assigned or left. But as I checked in status tracker its still says NVC 😥 My embasst in UaE

Wow thats good news. When was your NOA2? And where is your embassy? We are still at NVC status,not sure though how long we are going to wait for in transit status

Abu Dhabi embassy is so busy so it may take a little longer don’t stress. They are busy cos there’s a lot of people who have to use the embassy for visas (cabin crew and pilots/tourist visas/medical visas) because there’s a lot of expats in Abu Dhabi and they all have different visa requirements so the office is usually busy with many different requests. So you have to have a lot of patience with UAE! (I used to live in Abu Dhabi and found this out so went back home to process through London cos it’s quieter haha) but just so you know nothing is wrong- they’re just busy! Good luck!! 🍀

Nothing is going to interrupt the processing of your visa application. Has he checked hi spam email box? NOA2 isn't needed for anything but you do want to get your NVC letter which means you need to call ask for one. You can ask for it to be faxed but I think only tier 2 people can do that.
 
If you continue to have problems then set your appointment and print off an appointment confirmation which will contain you CH. If you are firm with them and you explain your dilemma they will usually accept the printed appointment confirmation. Of course, your mileage may vary.
