Very true.  When I tried to explain to my sister how frustrated I was getting, she said I was giving her a headache & that I should exercise more patience.  I decided that I would only share with my VJ family.  I am grateful that we have each other to lean on.  There are some pretty good people on this forum.

    Lol at "more patience". SMH.

It is hard and frustrating. As with anything in life, those that have gone through it just understand more. Hang in there. I know when I get particularly frustrated I switch gears and add to my list of activities/events/vacations I want my fiancé and I to complete once he gets here. It takes a negative feeling and turns it into an exciting one. It may be silly but it helps me. :)

Same!! And it’s hard to talk to friends and family about it because it’s hard to explain the process and how frustrating it is! Feels like only people who have been through it really understand

I have started just sharing the "approval" steps with friends/family because they just don't understand the process. So ever so often I say "yea we got through Step 2"  or "Yep, we passed step 3" and then they can share the excitement because they have no idea what I am talking about.  But trying to explain the interim frustration is pointless to those that don't "get it".

    Hang in there!!

Honestly I wouldn't count on the websites that much anymore.

I feel like they've been sped up a little so they only send out the hard copies first,

which is more important than the website updates.

Seems not just me but others have got the hard copies before they saw any website updates.

I'll continue praying for all of you! Be positive!

Agreed. Our NOA2-hardcopy was on 12/6 and the website still hasn't changed.

Many here have gotten a NVC case number. You may be a little early. Give it 3-4 weeks for your case to get from USCIS to NVC then begin calling.

There is a lot of good information over in the thread for December NOA2-NVC that would have answered that question. Maybe move over there and get caught up on the discussion where you are now.

This is so helpful. Thank you!
