My greencard finally arrived today 😁😊

Yeehee!! I just had my interview at Fresno field office and was approved after 2 hours. We are so happy that the interview was done. Good grief!! My supposed to be interview was November 21st and I had a call that it was rescheduled because my papers haven't arrived yet but still we drove 2 1/2 hrs to Fresno just to make sure that it wasn't a scam call. Finally, it's done!! Plus it was foggy drive today lol.
@ashmed246 I had the same thing. I did my medical Dec 2018. The officer in my interview told me my vacc record sheet is already expired but he said it's okay because I submitted a copy when AOS packet was sent before it expires.

Hi @Lucky_Mimi, sorry for the delayed response. How did your interview go? We were not asked for a new medical. We only had the one that we took with us to the interview.
Here's a link to our experience:
Thank you! Our interview was rescheduled. Still waiting for a new letter. Happy thanksgiving!

My interview date was supposes to be tomorrow morning but I got a phone call from USCIS Fresno today telling me they don't have my file yet so my interview will be reschuled. It was a short notice but I guess that's just how it is. Is anybody here from California?

Hi All - We just received out green card in the mail on Friday and I have updated my timeline on the signature. If you have any questions, please just reach out.
How was your interview? Did they ask for another set of medical? Or vaccination record? My interview will be this Thursday and I'm slightly getting nervous already

First off, thank you to this forum and community. I have learned all of our AOS filing and my wife's transition here to the states from these forum. We had good news in that our AOS processing was approved and Green Card sent in 5 months. When we first applied all of the estimates for AOS approval was estimated to take close o a year, and EAD AP approval estimates is December, 2019 or January 2020.
We were very anxious and had to change some plans due to this estimate but at this point, we are just thankful that my wife received her Greencard last week, the first week of November after our End of October Interview. The overall lesson we can impart is to not make any travel plans until you get your AP aproved.
The process seems to have gotten faster and we are very grateful, Thanks again to all here.
Congratulations on her approval! Just a quick question, how long did you guys wait for the greencard to arrive in your mailbox after you had your interview?

I printed the page from my iPad. But if you want something more explicit I’d contact them(kp) and inquire about it or the HR team from your partner’s company. I don’t have an interview yet so I’ve been doing this very slow. Lol
Thank you so much for the great insights! I called kp and requested for that medical insurance document. I hope you'll have your interview schedule soon. Just hang on

I have Kaiser, you can download all the info by logging in on the ADP account. Also, you can go to your Kaiser Permanente account and there's a section about your coverage that shows you're under your husband's plan and since when.
I found this (Is this what you are referring to?) > Under Kaiser Permanente Account > Coverage and costs > Eligibility and benefits
Is it this? How did you print it out?
-
Hello guys! Is there anyone here who uses Kaiser Permanente for their health insurance? If so, how did you get a documentation from Kaiser for your interview? I am trying to figure out how to get that piece of paper that has both of my husband and I's name as beneficiary on it.

We brought the DS3025. However it nor any medical questions were asked or reviewed. As long as you filed within 12 months of your medical, you meet the requirement. If it’s after the 12 months that’s when you must have the civil surgeon one and new medical.
Thanks! I'll just bring a photocopy and original copy of my DS3025 just to be safe. Seems like you had your interview already. If so, how was it? What evidences of bona fide marriage did you bring and were asked?
-
To everyone who is/was k1 fiancee visa holder who had done their interview: Did you bring your DS-3025 (with 1 yr validity) or I-693 transcribed by a civil surgeon?

Thousands are in the same situation just like yourself. Your medical was valid the day you filed, that's all that matters
I am one of the thousands of people waiting to be scheduled. I filled May 8th, 2019 while I took my medical Dec 2018. I found out medical is valid only up to a year when it was done (?)

Hello! My I-485s status is interview ready to be scheduled since July and it's almost 3 months on going. Is there anyway that I can expedite my case? My medical from SLEC will expire on December and I don't want to retake it here in the states. My local field office is Sacramento.

My biggest hurdles are:
1. Homesick. There's no place like home
2. Fitting In. Looking for new friends, trying some things to do and driving a car.
3. FOOD. Back to #1. There's no place like home

Hi guys, so today my i765 EAD application is at 135 days until they accepted my expedite request and received additional documents to provide and support for such.. just wandering if any of you made the same and how did it go? I'm from Anaheim, CA and under AOS (c)(9) category.
Me! I expedited my EAD too. It took me 16 days from the day I called them to expedite my EAD until I got it in the mailbox. Is everything okay?

Hi! I just did my Biometrics today Aug. 8 and I don't know how long will I get my working authorization permit. May I know what did you do to expedite it? I also need a job and I applied for a job anywhere but they're asking me for my working permit which I don't have it yet. Any advice for me? Thank you!
Congratulations on having your bio and picture taken today! Well, I volunteer in a nursing home in our town. With God's grace, they offered me a job. Then that's it. That's how I started expediting my EAD. Hmm.. I don't know what advice I will give. It's just plain luck. I was offered a job and I took the opportunity
