Wow we do have almost exact timelines. That’s crazy! And both Irish. What county are you from?
I know ! I’m from Dublin but was living in Wexford , there wasn’t many Irish applying at the time so anyone that was I was watching lol

Yes exactly the same. The guy was just like “nope.” Ugh. I agree it depends on who you get. I just looked and see the same March 2. We are March 15. Fingers crossed we will hear something in the next few weeks!! But he will still call again tomorrow (he went to a funeral today). I will update!
Me too , I remember you from the feb 2018 filers group looks like we have the same timeline. At least you will have a glimmer of hope for him now when he gets home.

Where did you see that!?! We are March!! Fingers crossed. Yes they already said they would not even consider an expedite. They told him they would schedule an infopass for him to speak to someone in person. He hangs up, then an hour later gets an email saying that they tried to reach him to schedule but there was no answer. He was literally sitting on the couch with his phone the whole time. It’s not like he had anywhere else to be lol. It says to call back. But he has not been able to get through since then. He will call again tomorrow. I am crossing my fingers. And to top it all off, I was let go from my job of ten years so we could go to Ireland together (I have all the time in the world now!) but of course we can’t. Sigh...
I just saw someone post about the uscis change and I looked at the website and it says they are working on March filers and the processing time is now 2.5-5 months!
I’m praying this is right , if that’s the case we will be approved any day. Keep trying though your case is extreme especially if you lost your job also! I think it depends who you get on the phone. They didn’t even look for evidence for our case just rejected it, I think the person I got on the phone just put in a half assed request.

Huge update on the the USCIS site. It says estimated wait time for EAD and AP approval moved from 6-8 months to 2.5-5 months for the NBC. I really hope its not a glitch or something but I just checked both and 10 minutes ago it was 6-8 months. It literally just changed to 2.5-5 months
Omg please please let this be true!! Thank you for sharing , everyone say a prayer I’m so desperate I’ve reached breaking point

Oh rant away. I so feel you. My husband’s father is ill. He wants to go back to see him badly. It took weeks to get his doctor in ireland to write a letter about his illness. And he only agreed because he has known the family for years. But of course our local office doesn’t take infopass appointments and he has been trying to get ANYONE from uscis on the phone for two weeks with no luck. Seems they no longer answer the phone. And they’ll probably just reject his claim for expedited AP anyway. I’m basically sure of it. His sister’s wedding is in September and he will need to decide to miss it and potentially the last time he will ever see his father, or to go and be done with this. The idea of him leaving and filing this whole thing from scratch again as married is too much to even imagine after all of this time. I just can’t take this any more. I agree they just want you to give up and go home. I get having to wait for a green card. Fine. But there is NO reason they can’t issue EAD and AP for those on K1 who have already jumped through all the damn hoops to get here! It’s insane!
I’m so sorry to hear that I can’t imagine the stress , that’s absolutely disgraceful to put someone in that position. Surely they can’t reject his case to expedite ?! Are you calling the main uscis number? I just saw they are now working on March 2nd filers and and processing time has gone back to 2.5-5 months ! I’m absolutely praying this is correct.

I so agree with this!! It’s just so unfair that some people have already gotten their green cards and the rest of us have no clue when we can even expect the AP or EAD. VJ just pushed it back another few weeks for me. Every week is worse than the last. It’s just all so unfair.
Same here , I don’t even have a SSN ( I went to the office like everyone else , waited 6 weeks only to be told I can’t have one at this time) yet never mind AP EAD or AOS interview. I got a job so I could get a letter to expedite only to get rejected, even though my husband lost his job in the process.
I don’t depend on my husband for money I had a good job and made sure Id be fine and would have enough to get a car and get myself started and be able to go back home to see my family .
Now after we apply it’s suddenly 6-8.5 months for EAD? While some people
have their green cards already ?!
I really do think they try and break you so you just give up and go home. Now every week my job here asks , can you start yet?? No I have to stay home and look out the window till probably October till someone ticks a box. First place I’m going when I do get AP is back to Ireland before I loose my mind.
Sorry I needed to rant 😫

I am so sorry to hear that. Honestly, yours is the first expedite case I've seen that has been rejected. I would suggest contacting your congressperson and senator if you haven't already done so because those are indeed pretty sever circumstances. Especially, if USCIS messed up (in terms of your SSN) your representatives have even more "ammunition" to submit expedites for you
They didn’t even ask for evidence, just said although my case is severe, due to the high volume of requests mine does not qualify. Thanks I’m just going to sit it out , my mental health couldn’t take another rejection.

Aww that really sucks, I’m so sorry your in that position!! Hopefully things will start to move for you, I can’t imagine being in situation. Thanks for the reply, will give them a ring. Won’t expect much but it’s worth a try I guess 😊
Yea definitely worth a try, I hope you get it!

Hi everyone,
so I received a job offer today for an on-call position at my wife’s college. I was just wondering what the best way to try and expedite my case would be? Any phone numbers/preferred methods others have tried? Any help would be much appreciated. I have never had to contact anyone during the whole K1 process, I have been very lucky so far.
A job offer isn’t enough anymore , your circumstances need to be severe in order to get your case expedited.
I had a job offer and my husband lost his job and they still rejected it. I still haven’t received a ssn because immigration didn’t tick a box when I entered the country so I still can’t get health insurance/open a bank account , still rejected.
Still worth a try though +1-800-375-5283 give them you’re receipt number at the top of your I-765 form.

Can anyone who’s expedited their EAD help me?
I called uscis to expedite under severe financial loss and I have a job offer.
Today I get a Letter saying my request to expedite i485 was denied !?? ( I didn’t ask for this to be expedited - only my ead , I just want my work card!!)
If I wanted to expedite i765 then I need supporting documents to the nation benefits center , no address , fax number or didn’t tell me exactly what to send .
Id imagine an official letter from employer? Anything else ? Does anyone have an address or fax number please thanks so much

Hey guys , how do I find the processing time for my local office ( Las Vegas ) thanks

Hi I sent of my package for AOS on feb 2nd and have heard nothing back , no receipt or notice and they haven’t taken the money . My tracking number from usps said my package delivered to Chicago on feb 7th. I submitted an e request today as I should have heard back by now but I have to wait 30 days for reply . Has this happened to anyone else? It delivered to Chicago office when I contacted the uscis they said they can’t see any information on it so I need to do the e request.

I don’t know about arriving at the interview without your medical they are pretty strict in there.
You’ve signed and returned your notice of readiness stating that you have all your documents ready , when you actually don’t , they won’t take kindly to that I’d imagine .
They take check your paperwork before you do your interview , if you are missing anything they won’t let you see an officer for your interview .
I’d put pressure on the mater saying you need your results by the end of the day on Monday it’s urgent!

Have any Feb Filers gotten their NVC yet?
Rang yesterday (3weeks since noa2) they have our case number but oh guess what ?! They spelled my name wrong so they won’t give it to us . They have a different spelling of my name , despite having 100000 forms with the my name on it , someone didn’t bother to type it into the system correctly. They want a copy of my passport before they will fix it and give us the case number .

I believe everyone’s EAD is processed through the NBC , not through the individual service centers so go by the NBC times , Your green card will be processed through your local service center
