Thank you once again, i have just called them NOT to send my medicals results to the embassy yet as i will be coming first thing Monday morning with raw cash to get all vaccinations, i was told it is not a problem that they will keep it because amendments has to be done if i get the required vaccination, i can't imagine going through all those stresses over there the streets of Los Angeles while i am trying to settle in... My interview is 26th July do you think the medical results will get to the embassy before then? They said it was supposed to be sent on Monday... I will also ask them next week Monday.

Due to not getting available medical appointments in time, it’s my third time rescheduling and I haven’t been asked to pay any new fee(s) neither is it stated anywhere on their website. I’d be wary about being talking and being TOO sure about countries I’m not sure of 😊

I was approved at my interview today!!!!!!! Finally the wait is over!!! 

This is a question for people who have passed their interview and are travelling over to the US in the near future.... Did you purchase health insurance to use as a backup until you get married and fall under your spouse's plan? If so, any recommendations for  insurers?

Just had our medicals done today....now to explore Montreal until Wednesday when we have our interview.  Sooooo close now!

This is a group of women I met at the Consulate this morning. Some of them are on this forum as well. We chatted and waited outside together to be let in, we all went up together, and we were the first 6 to be called for our interviews, and we were all approved! We all waited for each other to be finished and we took this pic outside afterwards! We hugged, we cried and we shared a true moment of happiness!!! What a special picture!! ♥️

I was approved at my interview today!!!!!!! Finally the wait is over!!! 

I had my interview this morning, and we were APPROVED!! What a feeling!! The interview part was the easiest part of the whole process! I will be moving to Washington D.C. on July 30!! Such an emotional day!! I am so grateful for this forum and all the help I've found here!! Thank you to everyone who has shown positive energy and to those who took the time to share information or experiences!! I am still crying with happiness!!! <3 
 
 
P.S. There was a girl today who didn't have a W2 with her, and didn't have the correct police report, but she still got approved, pending the resubmission of a proper police report. It's not as scary as people on here make it seem. They aren't out to just stamp people denied. They worked with her and didn't just deny her because she made a mistake. It's actually a very kind, professional experience!!

The I-129F is the petition to be APPROVED just to apply for the K-1 Visa. They do aggressive background checks to see if you even qualify to apply.

Don't listen to those people because getting married won't expedite anything. In fact, you'll have to start a whole new, longer process from a scratch. Your K1 will be denied and you'll have to apply for spouse visa which takes a year to approve.

From what I understand you already have an approved i-129f and you are just waiting to do the medical/ interview. If you get married at this point in your process you will have to start all over with a i-130 and a 13-15 month wait on that. On the bright side you would get to skip Adjustment of status. No it will not be expedited unless you have an extreme medical or financial issue that can be proved.

This morning we had the interview and we were APPROVED!! 
I can't thank you guys enough for all your wisdom and learning so much from this website. This website is such a great resource and saved me a lot of money not getting a lawyer. 
Now on to the next step in our journey.

I got my approval today as well. Can't wait to be reunited with my fiance. We will be getting married and settling in Hawaii where's he's from. 😍🌺👫🌴🐦

For the interview, we plan on bringing a copy of the P4 letter, a copy of the email confirmation above and our NOA2. It will probably be overkill, but better safe than sorry!

Are you using debit cards linked to bank accounts by chance or actual credit cards? Mine was credit, so I'm wondering if debit is the issue. I have a small business and sometimes debit card purchases don't go through the same way credit cards do. I really hope you can figure this out soon, so you can be with your person!
