so if you need a stamp on your passport because green card either expired or has not come yet you will have to call to get an appointment ?

they probably were not able to apply payment correctly call them and give them your IOE number and see what they say. 

My wife got here green card yesterday . pretty much 16-17 days after infopass appointment .

I got too busy to do anything after moving house, but then a couple of things happened on their own. First I got a letter about a lost visa packet, exactly as before. Then a couple of weeks later I got a letter saying I'd need to make an InfoPass appointment to resolve it (which they'd denied granting me before, lol). Tomorrow I have my InfoPass appointment, I'm pretty happy about that! Especially armed with all the experiences of others here.

So I went to my Infopass appointment on thursday and brought all the documents and paperwork I had
they scanned a couple of things and said that within 90 days I should get my greencard
Yesterday I checked my uscis case status and it already changed to „card is being produced“
fingers crossed that I will get the card fast and everything will be correct on it!
 
 

Card arrived and everything looks good.  Case closed until removal of conditions process...and Citizenship later on.

They directly gave my wife an infopass appointment (while she was on the phone with the USCIS). She definitely had to be pushy about it though.

I did not wait for the 30 days to schedule my infopass appointment. My wife got on the phone with USCIS the next day after we'd received the letter and gave them an earful about how inconvenient this was and why they simply couldn't look up the electronic visa packet in their system. She told them that her mom was leaving the country soon (which she is) and that we need to schedule an infopass appointment to submit our I-89 as was requested by the letter.
 
When we went to the infopass appointment and gave the gentleman there (who was very nice) our information, he quickly helped us fill out the I-89. When we told him that her visa clearly states that "IV Docs in CCD", he raised his eyebrows and had some sort of "aha" moment because right away he knew that the TSC were not smart enough to know what to do with such a visa packet. He then went on to explain to us that the TSC generally relies on the infopass people (at the Dallas field office in my case) to download the packet from the CCD and spoon feed it to them. He said this all while shaking his head like he really disapproved of the way the TSC does it (so do we all !!) He ended up submitting the I-89, downloading the visa packet from CCD and then sending them all that information so that there is no way the TSC can kick it back to us. We are now waiting and hoping that we finally receive the green card as someone from the other topic mentioned. It's been a week and a half.
 
My advice: Schedule the infopass appointment ASAP and when you get on the phone with USCIS, tell them you need to submit the I-89 in person at your local field office. Don't take no for an answer. You do not need to wait the 30 days. Good luck 😃

once you have the letter that says visa packet is lost no need to wait. 
just tell i received a letter saying visa packet is lost and i need to go to local field office and fill out lost visa packet form.

After being scammed by a women who claimed to do immigration paper work and waiting 2 months to later find out that she hadn't filled a single paper, I decided to take things into my own hands. After almost 2 months of having my Appointment via Infopass and submitting again my birth cerficate translated, 2 passport photos and the I-89 form(lost visa packet), I received my Green card. I was not requested to retake my finger prints nor anything else. The ombudsman didn't help me because today I received an email stating to be patient that my case will be reviewed shortly lol...
 
I got say there is still hope, apparently the infopass appointment and the I-89 form helped.
 

Small update:
 
I booked a second InfoPass appointment which I had to book via phone as my local office is no longer accepting online bookings.  
 
The Officer this time was much more helpful and upon my visit was not aware of the "CCD" Consular Consodiated Database containing my Visa Packet.  He inquired with the other Officers and manager and they also were not aware however they looked into it on another set of computers located on a different floor and upon his return he had found all my documents.  Upon leaving he was attempting to contact the Texas Service Center to let them know about the issue with my case and was preparing a package of documents to send to them so they could find my applicable information in the CCD since they are not aware of the new process for the Electronic CCD Visa Packets.  
 
This was a couple weeks ago and I have no information since.  If it's not resolved through this method then I'm expecting my case to come up in the Ombudsman queue soon.  

To all the smart people responding to this guy questioning the if child is theirs or not. Please try to stay to the point. If you really look at his question "I want to know where to get DNA and how to send them".

I tried to call, didn't have enough patient to wait through the 5 mins long auto message.
I sent a E-request, it tells me will get back to me a month later...
I sent two in-box messages in USCIS site, first reply tells me to go to an local office. 2 days later another message reply said the case went to Texas center, will get back to me in 15 days. hope it will be something useful..

Update, Been 188 days and no Permanent Resident Card; it appears the USCIS is not aware of Electronic Visa Packet Information
 
- Sent/Received 8 messages through "Inbox" on my.uscis.gov over duration of past 60days; most replies have been generic and unhelpful providing no resolution.  
- Scheduled InfoPass appointment at day 121; received no accurate information however was told to get new set of fingerprinting done and return.  Returned and received extension on IV with new stamp since visa is now expired.  
- Sent/Received reply from "Green Card Not Received" and was advised that my Visa Packet from POE was not received.  (Visa Packet is contained in the CCD and is electronic...so this is not possible)
- 3 referral ID's generated for Texas Service Center to resolve issues; received 1 reply so far.
- Phone call to USCIS and representative did not know of any electronic packet information; did not know what I was referring to and even mentioned it clearly states on my IV that the IV packet info is on the CCD.  Phone call advised to schedule an infopass appointment.  No infopass appointments in my area available anymore as they're not accepting walk-ins.  No venue to explore further options.

I've explored all options available to me at this time to no avail and my attorney is proceeding to the last measure of contacting the Ombudsman.

In other news however after waiting 90days I received my RealID Drivers License...so now at least I can open Transferwise (currency conversion) accounts and other specific and unique accounts that have been unavailable without acceptable ID.

I am in the same situation; R1/POE via Dublin on August 22/October 06, USCIS accepted to process my case - seen via my USCIS account.
 
I just went over the 120 days. I spent the last months between the US and EU to finalize the transition and get my job transfered.
 
from the above, I do understand that inboxing the USCIS is not the most effective way of addressing the matter and I should contact the ombudsman straight.
 
Since they accepted to process my case, I guess they should have received my package.

I think you will be fine. Just take new jobs pay stubs whatever is available.

You need just copies. If you are the only sponsor then ez otherwise regular 864. They want pay stubs also.
