I'm now 248 days without any movement on EAD/AP or AOS (I'm filing for AOS as a K1)

I submitted a "case inquiry" on July 30 2019 which is currently not assigned for processing.

I'm so frustrated waiting that i contacted my local congresswoman to contact USCIS on my behalf and this is the response i received from them..

I'm so confused regarding this "Your constituent filed using the Dates for Filing Applications Chart, and we will continue to review these applications and related ancillary applications in the order received. Due to the volume of cases under review, we do not have an estimated timeframe for completion"

Can anyone help try and explain this to me; do all AOS application from a K1 visa who are now married commonly file using the Dates for Filing Applications chart?

Exactly the same situation 249 days today and nothing anywhere..lawyer did service request August 9th still nothing back … SO frustrating!

So it's been 203 days since my PD and about 37 days since they got my RFIE. I just here to vent because I just lost out on a job offer due to this processing too way longer than first anticipated back in December 2018. 😢

So I contacted USCIS and got in touch with a tier 1. They basically told me there's nothing they can do until it hits the 60 day mark for the RFIE.

Also, yesterday before my offer got rescinded, I got in touch with my senator's office. I filled in all the forms they requested and sent them back. Hopefully they can help push it along a bit although they make no promises obviously. I do hope I get an approval soon as we're pretty much at the end of our savings. Two more month of this and we'll be at risk of not being able to pay our mortgage and bills. 😫 Never in my worst nightmares did I expect to be out of work for 8+ months.

I hear ya! - NJ too! 209 days in...:(

  3. Hey, can anyone help…. I am using a lawyer for this AOS stage… I have gave him everything he needs to file, however we are now stuck as he is requesting/basically saying I need to go and have ANOTHER medical done. Can anyone explain this, form my research it seemed you do not need one (so soon/ again)  for this step, but he has told me if I choose not to it then it is my decision but risk having our application summarily denied?

Thanks in advance! ( This is probably where the majority of you tell me i didn't even need a lawyer at this stage) …..

    Hi everyone,

I think probably I’m the person here who waits the longest for NOA2. We got our NOA1 on Dec 1 on old site and Dec 6 on new site. It has been 236 days since the NOA1 (old site) and nothing update:cry:. We requested the inquiry online and got a mail said they were still adjudicating and would respond within 60 days (which is insane). We also called them but only were told that we could file another request in 15 days…

I don’t know if anyone has the similar experience or if someone can please let me know what more can I do other than waiting, it’s too frustrating. Thanks so much!

Similar responses too. I'm an October 24th filer!  Trust me you are not the only one out there.... Patience is key :) ...We will get there...

Crazy :( Have you tried contacting your senator / congressman yet? Put in an inquiry? Just curious. I wish you luck, I'm at 199 and I think I'll be fairly upset by the time 220 rolls around. My buddy in July took 224, and I saw the numbers come down since then, only to appear to be going right back up.

Hoping to hear back from Congress ....Be it today or early next week.. Fingers crossed on some insight.
