  1. Just received an RFE, asking for additional evidence of good faith marriage. I sent joint checking and savings accounts, credit cards statements, lease document, car insurance and health insurance, joint tax returns. They want more and not the same docs?

What else is there? They are also asking for a marriage certificate which was also included, saying the in The same line about do not included docs already submitted.

At a bit of a loss here.

Whole things sounds a bit odd to me. Next time my ex-wife tried to speak to me about committing federal crimes I would say I don't want to talk about this. Of course, if you want to report it that's your right but I would advise staying out of it. This happens everyday and is a big part of the reason the process is so difficult for some who have honest intentions, but I just don't see how any good could come from you being involved in it in anyway.

That's my issue, I want to stay out of it. But watching some on here and going through the legitimate process myself, it feels wrong to sit by and let them sully the process.

So that is your ex-wife who now has a boyfriend but has decided to marry another man.

How old are your sons and when did you divorce her?

Is she is now your ex-wife because of her involvement with many men during the marriage?

Are you looking to get full custody of your sons? Certainly, her behavior is not a healthy one for the kids to be around. You should contact USCIS to report the fraud.

That would definitely be a story time. I have full custody, marriage split was 2016, divorce started 2017, finalized 2018.

Unless either the boyfriend, the roommate or your ex-wife actually poses a danger to your son, yes, it's wrong to not allow your son to spend time with HIS MOTHER.

I have a few thoughts on this, outside input helps. First my son lives with me per the divorce agreement, he is a teenager and asked if he could go stay with her about a year ago. I spoke to her about it and she said she was not comfortable with him staying with them for a variety of reasons(drinking and arguments being the main). Him being a teenager, he get a quite a bit of autonomy. But things being in the fraud area gives me even more reservations. He doesn't know anything, but my older son knows and he thinks keeping him out of the situation is best.

  5. Ok, I tried to stay out of it. My ex-wife has decided to marry her boyfriends roommate to help him get citizenship in exchange for cash. She told me about this a couple times and I advised her to step away and not get into anything illegal. Unfortunately she did it, so not only has she committed fraud, she's not going to get paid now. I have our sons interest in mind and would like to keep them from being near that whole situation. Is it wrong of me to try and disconnect thier time together?

    ***UPDATE***

We received a letter to let us know that our interview date has been changed, we now have an interview scheduled for January 23. Very excited to see that they were willing to work with us on this as it's been a point of stress for several weeks. My wife and son got back December 18 and we had a wonderful Christmas here in the states. 😊 Now, just need to make sure we have everything ready for the interview.

We received a letter letting g us know they are rescheduling for us. No date yet.  I mailed letters to both the local office and national, as well as called.

No worries, thank you for braving the waters before me😁

    Hey @Pbchief2, no update yet.

Just curious, where are you at in this process?

Also, I'm happy to provide a copy of the letter I wrote if you're needing something for reference. I found someone else who had done one on here and made it my own. Happy to help out if you need a point of reference on that.

So far I have called the uscis to request a reschedule. Our appointment is in January. I am planning to drop off a hand written letter tomorrow and would appreciate a copy of the format you used.

You seem a bit worse off than me, we are both here in the states still, but have bought a ticket to see her grandmother in the hospital.

Another friend of hers had a reschedule set 2 weeks after the call request at uscis, I'm beginning to think luck has a big hand in some of these.

  8. I hope everyone is doing great, those that have not finished, please have faith and keep the love strong. We're getting ready for the wedding and waiting on her mom's interview. It'll be a civil at the recorders office and out to dinner for 50 of us after that.

Thank you Visajourney for all your help.

Special thanks and drinks on me if we're ever near to greenbaum.

    P Sanchez.
