I have Crohn's myself, and I didn't have any issues during the visa process. Luckily my now husband is military, so the health insurance is not a worry.

Of course, I just did my Danish address. Do I have to talk to them to make sure I get my documents back? 

At the interview they have you write your address on the envelope they’re going to send

Yes, I received the P3 by email. I scheduled the interview myself through ustraveldocs.com

Thank you! It changed to ready yesterday, roughly around 8pm (CEST) , and I received the P3 at 3:35pm today

I saw that, strange! Maybe the Netherlands uses a different system. I know @Little_Vixen is also from The Netherlands, so maybe she can help you here.

I made an account on ustraveldocs.com. Out of curiosity I tried to go as far as possible in the steps of scheduling my interview. Got the question if I had received P3, clicked "No" and was told I couldn't proceed.

No, US Travel Docs is connected to the embassy. You might be able to book on the website easily, but if your embassy doesn't allow early bookings they will cancel it and you will have to pay the fee again I think. You should check your embassy's policy on this before doing anything as you don't want to waste money.

Yes that's correct. You wait a few days before the case number is created

It depends on your embassy. Some allow it, some don't. Mine (Stockholm) does NOT allow that before you've received P3 with instructions.

I haven’t heard anywhere that it’s necessary, it depends on each embassy though. I am bringing one just in case.

It’s the same letter as before, but dated much closer to the interview  I’m the beneficiary, and I had my fiancé mail me a new one to bring to the interview.

@Greenbaum , do you happen to have the P3 for the embassy in Stockholm?

You never know with USCIS, but according to the processing times you should have your NOA2 by the end of next month.
