Literally just got a text saying there's an update on my case, "New card is being produced". FINALLY!!!

How long roughly does it take to receive does anyone know?

Finally! some movement! Day 185, still no word on EAD yet, but it's something. Anyone know roughly how long till an interview in Dallas?

Hey All!

So we got NOA1 on 12/20. Had Biometrics 01/09.

Received request for initial evidence on the affidavit of support, saying my wife doesn't earn more then the poverty guideline for our household size (2). 

Surprised us as it is over 300% the guideline. She was a student last year so we sent in; VOE and several paystubs confirming how much she now earns. However the RFE states we didn't show she earns enough. 

Anyone else have this happen? or tips?

for employment make sure you check the box above it.

It has no value in box 1. and it won't let me input it either.

Hey, so just getting everything together to send off for AOS. 

A few issues, On the I-864 form; the household size form won't auto-populate with our info. also We cannot input the employment information the boxes won't let me type in. Any help with this?

Ive tried filling it online and on PDF app

I saw my Immigration officer open mine and it was all held together securely in a certain order. So there is no way it could be shuffled around unless it was purposely taken apart

So I have had my medical, interview and been approved and today got back my passport. 

I have my UK driving license, i have previously had a TN license when i was on my OPT, however that has expired. 

Can I get a license straight away? If so how? (In Texas)

If not, can i get insured on cars with my UK license?

Surely there has to be a way.

Had mine this morning also, was very easy and very quick even though it was very busy. Heres to hoping for a speedy turn around.

This is what it looks like right now. But before last night there was only the 27th and later available. Im not sure if more came available once my status changed to "ready" or if it was just a coincidence.

You need to get NVC case number to be able to check status of the visa, Do that by calling or using the email form. Then do an immigrant visa check with the NVC #, which will start with three letters correlating to your chosen embassy. It will show 'NVC' 'In transit' or 'Ready'

Yes this is the page, Just above where you have screen grabbed it, it says

"You must print this instruction page and bring it with you to your consular interview, along with the letter or email you received from the Consular Section"

Yes its not very formal tbh. but it should say at the top of the page to 'print out this page' or something along those lines, so if you can find that, then you are set.

Mine was at NVC for about 2/3 weeks, then got an email when it was sent to the embassy. from what I believe it should be sent around mid month.

Okay, I have no idea what the "Confirmation Page" is that the interview website keeps telling me I need to print out. I can find it NO WHERE in the ais.usvisa-info website. I have the DS-160 printed with the barcode. But where in Sam Hell is the confirmation page for the PTT or PPT whatever it is called. I chose the location but there is no "confirmation" and I paid for the interview and printed a receipt, not sure if it is "the receipt" that they are asking for. I'm confused.....

This "confirmation page" is the direct page once you confirmed appointment date. You should be able to print it on the same website, once you go into appointment details, there is an option to "print instructions"

Just wondering if anyone knows how frequent Interview dates become available to change too? Obviously know one will know for sure however just seeing if it rarely happens or occasionally?

Obviously lots of people wait for a letter and instructions but having monitored the forum for months I saw Lots of people book when in transit. I’m only confident doing it because the interview is  over 5 weeks away so I’m sure they’ll have my file and medical info by then. My medical is in two weeks. Hope that helps!

Not entirely true, it doesn't always allow you to book when in transit, I have been trying and cannot yet, it states it 'is not ready' but some people seem to be able to. Just one of those things I guess. But congrats!

Unfortunately it didn't work yet. hopefully its not long now anyway
