It maybe be possible. Truly speaking I don’t understand the need of USCIS asking for medicals if someone is living in the country for years. If the person has a contagious disease, it means the person has already spread that disease to many, so what the need of medicals in this case?. But I understand USCIS asking for medicals to someone who just recently came in here because they wanna protect that person to spread the disease.

It’s not about the disease, it’s about being able to have DNA samples of every immigrant. Able to solve crimes relying on the samples on file.

    Good night everyone,

I was wondering if anyone knows if lenders will will give me a hard time for trying to purchase a house with only my Ead? Will the fact that I am not a permanent resident as yet be an issue?

    thank you all

I bought my house with EAD, all my lender needed was for my EAD to be valid for at least a year. I also provided the lender with copies of my previously authorized EAD and I was able to purchase a $400k house in Colorado. Hope this helps.

  3. @Stillwinning!!!😊 @sandranj and any other folk out here, I need your help in analyzing this report I got from my former supervisor. I reported to him that I was being extorted by my ex wife. In fact the thoughts of what I was going through with her made me leave my duty post on the day that this incident happened. What’s your take on the affidavit my former supervisor wrote? Does it help or mar my case? Thanks

  4. @Stillwinning!!!😊, @sandranj, and any other person who is able to advise accordingly, I need your help now than ever. The issues raised in my case was adequately addressed in my psychological evaluation. Specifically, psychological evaluation stated that admission or  statements which were not accurate reflection of the situation were symptoms exhibited in an abused victim. What do you guys think please. I have been on this case way too long. I can's afford to fail now.

Did you ever get prima facie? Or asked rfe

Yes I got RFE for moral character and good faith marriage in April of 2017. I responded almost immediately and my case just kept saying USCIS received my response and have started working on my case again. And yes, I received several prima facie determinations. Thanks

Can you please share your timeline story? and congrats

@Stillwinning!!!😊 @sandranj Below is the affidavit my aunt came up with to address the disparity with her divorce documents. Please kindly advise. Thanks

Following the request for further evidence served to me by USCIS detailing  other essential documents needed to reach a decision in my case, I consulted with my legal representative in Nigeria to address the concern raised by USCIS as regards to the divorce document served to me by my ex husband. My legal representative reviewed the notice served by USCIS vis-a-vis the divorce documents and centered her expertise on USCIS request for Divorce Absolute. Given her expertise, my counsel requested for the copy of the initial divorce documents served by my ex husband, launched a private investigation and determined that my ex husband sought the said divorce in a customary court and that he represented himself throughout the proceedings. Although my counsel determined that the documentation from the customary court were valid, however she concluded that they in fact did not meet the requirement outlined and for the purpose emphasized by USCIS. Specifically, my counsel deduced that my ex husband was represented pro se and most likely had no legal expert input before filing the said divorce in the Customary court. Furtherance to my counsel’s discovery, she deemed it necessary to liaise with my ex husband to get more details about the divorce.    Accordingly, after successfully meeting with my ex husband, my ex husband availed to my counsel that he had issues remarrying when he wanted to do so sometimes last year owing to the fact that the court wouldn’t grant his union to his new found fiancée on the account that his divorce with me was not properly done. The foregoing discovery led to him (my ex husband) recruiting the expertise of an attorney and representing his divorce case against me to a higher court. According to the copy of the divorce documents which my ex husband told my counsel he had served to my last known address in Nigeria and copy of the same presented to my counsel, it reported that my ex husband filed and obtained a ruling on the Divorce NISI and Divorce Absolute in October and December of 2020 consecutively.

I would like to submit that my reliance on the divorce documents sought, obtained and served to me by my ex husband was done in good faith believing the same to be true, valid and most of all biding and it was what I relied on before I remarried my now ex husband in the United States. I submit under the penalty of perjury that the foregoing is true and was not done with the intent to circumvent immigration procedures. I ask that the adjudicating officer give credence to the fact that this error was not willful or done with disregard to due process. This error took its toll on my ex husband which made him realize he needed to amend the error and the said error was amended before the reviewing officer made the request. To this end, I want to appeal that my application be reviewed judiciously and the error resulting from my ex husband’s doing of a professional job he wasn’t trained to do be overlooked in reaching a decision in my case. I have suffered gruesomely in the hands of the two men that pretended to love and cared for me and my children but only treated me like an animal and I do not have any intention of going back to them.

The foregoing statement is written under the penalty of perjury.

Just for clarification, do you have a pending I-485 right now?

Hello VJ family, My aunt got the attached request for additional evidence. I’m not an expert but I read her affidavit, psychological evaluation and the supporting documents she submitted for this petition. However USCIS seems to have turn to Oliver Twist. My question particularly centers around her divorce. Her husband divorced her in a customary court which is not recognized by USCIS as it was not a divorce under the Act. She hired an attorney from back home to look into the divorce documents served by her husband and the attorney found out that although the husband filed the divorce genuinely but it was done at the customary court and more obvious was that he did it himself without seeking legal advice. Given that USCIS is now asking for a divorce under the Act, is she able to refill a fresh divorce that will carry the language USCIS wanted and is there any consequences that might result from that? @Stillwinning!!!😊 @sandranj and any other knowledgeable folks out here please kindly advise. Thanks

Maybe they have sent you a RFE and you didn’t respond to that, have you try contacting your Congress person?

Thanks for the insight. I in fact work really closely with the Congressman’s office, but USCIS kept telling them that they are doing background checks which scares the Congressman away. As a congressman, you don’t want your name on the file for circumventing the security of the entire country just because you want to exercise your power. So fingers crossed. I hope for the best everyday.

Hi guys ! Vawa was approved on 02/24/21 after 4 and half years of waiting.  I have not yet received the approval letter . Has anyone experienced this? I sent so many e-request and last week I sent a letter to VSC .

    Many thanks. 💕

I filed I360 in March of 2017. I’m still waiting on getting an approval. Just keep believing, everything will fall in place at its ordained time. I wish you the very best.

Hello this was the same notice I got for my interview after vawa approval. I thought it looked odd as it was different from my initial interview notice that was marriage based..I researched and found out it was not unusual. Your i360 is approved I believe..and this is your interview notice. Please be sure to attend the interview and prepare as you would for the i360. Take all the relevant documents with you. USCIS operates in unusual ways sometimes.💁 Be prepared for anything..you may discover officially that your i360 has been approved!👍

Thanks @Stillwinning!!!😊 for the education and encouragement. I would everyone posted on the outcome. I wish everyone here a blissful festivity. ✌️

Merry Christmas and God bless you dear!🎉🎁🎄🎅🎈🔮🎋🎊🎉🎊🎉🎊🎉😊

Hi everyone, I just want your input on the latest development on my case. So I received the attached notice of interview for the I130 and I485 wish I filed alongside my abusive spouse. Meanwhile I filed my form I360 and a new I485 since 2017. My abusive spouse did not attend the interview with me but I went alone to ask that the interview be held (I didn’t know about I360 at the time) so I was hoping to fix things with my abuser in the hope that we would attend the interview later. But my effort didn’t work. I haven’t received any correspondence about my case since then, although I have been following up with my congressman’s office to investigate the holdup with my case. But now I finally got an interview notice that was not based on my I360. I have also not seen or received any notice about approval on my I360. @Stillwinning!!!😊 and @sandranj please advise. Thanks
