Every time someone has a little hope or light in this already stressful process you dim it. You have done it to me by providing false information and telling me i basically don’t have enough money to support my fiancé and i would receive a rfe which is far from the truth. Hey all I’m starting this thread for any South African couples waiting for their visa to be processed, petition approved, or couples who have already been approved. If you have any stories or advice please do share. I sent my petition in on 02/12/2018 it was delivered 02/15/2018 I received my NOA1 02/20/2018. I’m currently waiting for my NOA2

I don’t need a sponsor lol.  I make well over the requirement. Your w2 is also not a requirement to show proof of support. People who have started their jobs and missed the cut off date use the statement from the bank employer letter stating they are full time and permanent and anual salary and all of their pay stubs since working. Also financials have nothing to do with the petition stage so there is no way to receive an rfe. Please do not give out false information for the sake of other users who are not as well versed in this particular area. It will only cause more stress and confusion to an already painful experience. I do thank you for taking your time to respond to me 

Exactly I just got all of these things last week. In South Africa police cert is only good for 6 months I don’t think I did anything too fast nothing is dated except the police cert which I’m still waiting on and bank statements which I’m waiting for as well. Even if my case isn’t approved until November everything would still be in the appropriate time frame. I’m very ####### when it comes to detail

Congratulations 🎉🍾🎊. I don’t know what I would be doing if I wasn’t staying with my fiancé until this process is over but I’m so happy for you and I’m glad everything went smoothly

I read somewhere that they are opening other service centers to process more immigration petitions( not i-129f).  So that they can process all visas a little faster and take the burden of visa processing off of certain service centers. So maybe that has something to do with the turn over rate being picked up. From my understanding some people who filed in September have recieved their NOA2

Sent out our packet on 2/9/18 and recieved email NOA1 on 2/16/18 so just waiting on the hardcopy and now our NOA2!! Good luck!

Okay so I sent in my I-129f package on February 12 and was delivered on February 14th. I recieved my NOA1 today February 21st.  The dates on my intent to marry letter and other documents like passport photo was dated for January 19th. Do you think i will receive an RFE for this? I am very worried about this because it falls out of the 30 day requirement but I sent everything in before the 30 days were up. Any thoughts
