Is wat ik heb gebruikt, screeningprofiel: visum/emigratie

Normaal gesproken moet vog aanvraag gestart worden door de instantie die het nodig heeft, in dit geval niet zo daarom leuk zo een site die het aanvraag start voor je

U can book the medical the moment you have your NVC case number AMS2019------- something like that probably
Just be sure to get interview scheduled within 6 months(i think? double check this, I can't right now i actually have my interview today) after getting the medical, else it expires

Bunbunbunny got a reaction from stacyt in July 2018 NOA2 ----> NVC
I need some advice, we received a hardcopy NOA2 over a month ago
tAfter a few calls it turned out that the NVC has sent back the case to the USCIS, and now when calling the USCIS they say we have to wait another 180 days ...
What is this and how should we deal with this?

it could be something really simple and easy to fix too.....maybe you missed the dot above the 'i' somewhere lol

but seriously - usually RFE's are quick to fix and they usually process them in a fast manner too

waiting this long is not fun
long days waiting for it to rain
    the USCIS should be ashamed

    Okay, first off, CONGRATULATIONS!!!

Having said that, next step is indeed the consulate.
At some point you will be notified that the consulate received the visa stuff NVC sent to them.
This means you will need to prepare even more forms...
This is a small list of things you want to have prepared for this step:
    A copy of the NOA2 approval (a.k.a I-797)
A copy of the I-129F package sent to the USCIS, and everything else you sent to the USCIS
A new letter confirming that you two plan to marry, this time addressing the consulate
Form I-134 (a.k.a form of affidavit), the petitioner fills this one out (if you use co-sponsors then they need to fill one out too separately), this form requires evidence supporting it such as letter from employer confirming your job and salary + bank statement + tax returns of last year.
    Lots of proof of relationship!
    Police records of the beneficiary

Look when you get notified to make the appointment, by that time you should also have done a medical i think they will provide more information.

Im not this far yet but this is as much as i know, i will keep an eye on this thread because i could use more information myself

There was a similar situation discussed recently in the July 2017 K1 thread.   It seems that the problem is that you have given reason for USCIS to suspect that you are already married, and the K1 requires that both the petitioner and beneficiary be unmarried.   The USCIS will likey consider you to be married if the social customs of your beneficiaries country consider you to be married.

    In the case discussed in the July thread, the petitioner contacted the USCIS and was advised to convert the K1 to a K3.  I do not have the specifics, but thought I would alert you to the other thread in the chance that it may help you.   Look for the posting from "Karimbafi" and the follow-up discussions on the pages following;

I guess that means there's a higher chance to be approved, thought that they didn't accept co-sponsors at that consulate.
To be sure you might want to ask your friend how the process went and base your prediction on that
