They are saying the 48 month extension letter is likely already on its way. Many people have received it in the last week or so (we got ours yesterday). I would just wait for the extension letter at this point, and if you haven't received it in the next few weeks, then do an inquiry about "missing notice". 

Heads up for NJ residents! Husband went to get his driver license and they denied him because his SS card includes his middle initial, while his EAD card does not, and apparently they must match. I’m not sure if other states do this, but NJ is notoriously strict, so just wanted to send out a warning. Part the problem is that my husband already had an SS card from a previous visa, so this might not be an issue for most here in our lovely forum.

Mine was updated to "Card was picked up by USPS" the day after "Card was mailed to me".

So it was last Wednesday afternoon mine changed to 'card was mailed'. I was too impatient waiting for my tracking number after it was mailed, so on Thursday afternoon I went on to ask Emma online and got though to customer rep who gave me it with no issues. Give it a go that way if you wanna try  

@jakejon congrats on receiving your combo card!  My status updated last night to “card mailed to me” how long after did you receive a tracking number?

Okay. Sounds good.  Just like @jakejon mentioned, I would assume I’m getting the combo card even though the status hasn’t changed on the app.

You’ll first get a notice of approval letter in the mail, then not long after that you’ll get that update with the tracking number. Mine took a week from the time I got the approval that card is being made to having the combo card in the mail.

Yes, the next update they will give you a tracking number once the USPS picked up your card. 

Interview letter received! Interview on the 16th of May, at 1.45PM - actually a convenient time and date; my husband is already off work!

Congrats!!! Yes, if filed together your EAD/AP will be a combo. My AP status still shows 'received' despite being approved - most experience the same.

Yes you can travel by air in the US. Just make sure you have a valid ID (your passport will be fine) that will allow you to get on the plane. My husband and I were in New York City when his I-94 expired and they had no issue. @jakejon recently flew to Portland from Las Vegas. Just be on the cautious side and take the NOA for your AOS. Better to have it with you and not need it, than to need it and not have it.
