Hey everyone quick question.
So I submitted my adjustment of status a couple months ago and today we got a notice for request for evidence. We forgot to send in the tax returns (we just thought we needed the W2s). But they also said that my husband's joint sponsor doesn't make 125% of the poverty guideline however we know she does because on the W2 it says she makes more than twice the amount required. So I'm wondering if they said that because we didn't submit the tax return or if there could be another reason. And now I'm wondering if we need to submit another person as a joint sponsor because it says later down "Submit evidence from a different qualifying joint sponsor".
Any help or advice is appreciated.

Ok guys, so I was using my flashlight on the phone for my night face routine and when i was turning it off saw the text and had an mini heart attack 💀 I know this only means my case is accepted and I’m officially in line but yeah!
EAD and such on day 142 with no changes but if we were to get the GC first then the EAD would be unnecessary buuuuuut I’d be dreaming if that was the case cause the wait time is between 17-34 months in NYC. I will live update ♥️ Wish me luck 🤞🏽

I am infuriated on your behalf especially since you had a job offer with your expedite. I hope they get to the bottom of it quickly now that your Congress woman is involved.

My husband had his AOS interview this afternoon and got approve. Online status changed to "new card being produce". PD 08/02. The whole process was fast and easy. He didn't ask no questions; just the yes and no questions.  We only give few pics, bank statements, insurance and 401k, gym membership . We were at Jacksonville, Fl office. OK you all! I have great news! I received a message yesterday at 8 pm saying that my wife's EAD is in production and will soon be mailed to her!
We were afraid that our case had fallen through the cracks, but we are so elated it wasn't the case. Now, do you know how long it would take for the card to get to us?
We are very excited! Thank you all for the support and goof vibes. 

Its been 32 days since my status changed to “interview was scheduled “ and today a letter was delivered from Homeland Security but i cant get to it till tomorrow. Im so excited!! I hope its nothing but good news! 😊 

Mine was chenged to  “ready to schedule interview” on Sep 25. And on Sep 28 I received my EAD card

Depends on your local field office. Try to see facebook pages.. mine is in houston and they just started interviewing people from april 2017.. 
 
Mine changed to that status in august.. i have atleast a year more of waiting

Not sure re your EAD, I assume that would depend on how long it takes till your GC interview is actually scheduled. You should check the processing times for your service center. 
 
Mine has been ready for interview since July 24th, but I'm in LA, so mine will take a lot longer than those with other offices since Cali is the busiest office, I believe.

This is a good list, and we brought a lot of the same information to our interview.  The one additional item we brought was a copy of our K1 package as well (I didn't see that on your list).  The IO did not look at much of what we brought other than the photo album, a birth certificate from my adult step-son, and our updated taxes since our interview occurred after we filed our updated taxes.  Most of the information on your list will be very relevant for the ROC (I am assuming this interview  will be for a two year GC), so make sure you save it for that filing.

Well, we got 2 letters from USCIS confirming the EAD and AP are approved. No word on when the actual combo card will show up. We only know it has been mailed from the SMS & email from last night. it's a bittersweet achievement i would say. You know you are there, but you are not. The letter for EAD also states, you cannot use it as a replacement for EAD card, meaning not usefull to present to any employer or even getting a DL. 😤. A little more wait it is.
 
Don't loose the hope guys, it will get there.

We are in the same boat. Every day that passes were one step closer. This part of the process all be it the longest will be worth the wait. What day are you at now? As my post said we’ve hit 136 days today with no updates, nothing to say schedule for interview either. 
 
Sat in hope every day that we’re closer to receiving the GC interview and the AP and EAD.
 
We are also very comfortable but 6 months out of work has been bliss at times but also made me feel like I’m ready to go back. I’ve fortunately been volunteering and studying on a university program to take up my time. It’s been helpful in filling up lots of spare time! 
 
Im hoping that may and June continue to see lots of action over the next few weeks  
 
 
 

yeah...i am a USC, but was in the same boat till this morning when we got the news about EAD. My wife is also learning the DL manual and scared she will have to drive me to work to get the car and be free. Is your FO Atlanta?

Hi everybody! I've reading this thread and I just realised my I-485 application status still says "Finger Fee was Received" although my EAD status just changed today (on October 16, 2018) into "New Card is Being Produced". Does anybody has the same track with me?

in the old uscis website it says New card is being produced

We received the combo card this week! My husband already got his driver's license with it and is so excited to return to work. Hoping that the rest of you all get your combo cards soon!
 
For those wondering: we filed at the end of June (timeline is in my signature), so I'm sure the rest of you will get your case adjudicated shortly!

I just disabled all notifications because tbh seeing how long our case is taking compared to others in my same area and that submitted way after and even got fingerprinted after, is not helping me get through this horrible wait 💅🏽 So for my sanity, good luck to y’all 👌🏽 I will just update my profile when needed

My EAD changed status October 15th for card in production! Finally! Took them a while, and I sent my AOS/EAD combo May 4th 🤦🏻‍♀️ So frustrating seeing everybody else getting their cards  
 
expect it anytime, I think they still try to not reach more than 6 full months 

Got a surprise in the mail today. I got my greencard interview set for next month on Nov 6th! My case was not updated online.
 
So happy. I start a new job next week, going for my drivers test soon, and now this. This is the best early Christmas present ever haha.
