Hey good news I got an email from the embassy saying that they had received my case. 
Good morning. 
We have received the approved petition for your fiancé from USCIS.  Please respond to this e-mail and provide your fiancé’s personal e-mail address so we may send instructions on how to book a visa interview.   Thank you for your assistance.

I was looking online last night at the other timelines similar to yours and mine and it seems like we werent the only ones who book the interview before receiving the confirmation of packet 3. I don't think it is really necessary since the list of documents had already been shared on the forum. However I am not sure how much of a stickler they are going to be if you are before your physical case does. If mine was received yesterday most likely I'm sure yours is right behind it. 
 
Email them again and stay something to the sort that your application says ready in the CEAC case tracker and what are the next steps for the interview process. That's what I did and it seems to have lit a fire under them.

Great news!!! That really good man, so im assuming you just use that as your email proof that they ask for at the medicals and interview. I have emailed them last thursday, saying what you said. Lets see what they send back..

I got an email from the embassy today still in transit it appears, this was their response.
 
Good afternoon,
Thank you for your e-mail.  As soon as we receive Form I-129F from the National Visa Center, we will process your case.  You will be sent an instruction packet listing the documents that you will have to present during your visa interview. Please provide us with your fiancée’s  e-mail address.  The Immigrant Visa Unit will send her instructions outlining in detail the steps in the processing of her fiancé visa.
 
So I provided her email address. Now we are just back to waiting until she gets that email. At least it is not going via snail mail.

Thank you so much for this information. We still waiting to have a CC. We have been waiting 17 days... we hope to have a CC by the end of this week. We hoping for an interview in October.

looks like they send the cases out every 2 weeks now. Last time was Aug 7, next time will be Aug 21. You should make it to that batch  

Hey everyone, how long does it take nowadays from getting a case number from NVC to the moment when NVC sends our documents to the embassy? Should we get a letter or something from NVC with our case number or other information? It’s been a week since we got our case number and case status is still “at NVC”

They'll send the petitioner an email once they send your case off to the beneficiary's embassy. The email will have your case number.

Thought I'd help as I'm browsing. Your NVC number can be given to you on the phone once the NVC receives your case. It did take about 15 days from NOA2 to getting our case number. Once the NVC is done with your case, they will email you a confirmation (which will include your case number on it). Still havent received the letter from the NVC yet. It really does vary how long it takes from NOA2 to case number.  I recoken you should get your case number hopefully this week. Best of luck.
 
P.S Don't be afraid to call a few times each day if you like. I LOVE PORTLAND! My fiance is from there but lives in Vegas! 

Date twins!! My NOA1 is January 25 new site too!! Congratulations to those who got approved this week. This will free up the adjudicators to move on to next case which hopefully will be ours. Hang in there to those who are still waiting. We will get through this together!!!

I've been seeing about 10 business days as the average.

Called the helpdesk again to help me with registering myself on the website to schedule an account. Got the same helpful guy as yesterday. Told him I had put in a request to delete my account but they had not done that yet, if he could help me delete it and then make a new account.
He deleted my account and then we set up to register again, going through the steps I already had when I first registered, and he came to the same schedule interview page I did. He then went ahead and tried to enter the NVC number and DS160 code and it told him again I was already in the system and could not be registered.
He told me I needed to send another email to the email address I used yesterday to 'escalate' the problem and to find out what is going on. I just did that.
I am so so tired. I just want to go home and cry.
