I have a question for the medical, did you need your packet 3? My fiancé and trying to see if we can proceed without it. Others have said they used a screenshot of CEAC etc... was curious about your experience. I’m sure people are tired of seeing me asking around LOL but I just want to make sure! Haha  

Do it yourself  just triple check it! Read EVERY SINGLE question multiple times and make sure you don’t miss anything.

it will seem stressful but just be very thorough and you’ll be fine! My fiancé and I noticed we missed a question the day before we submitted our file. Definitely just triple check it all and you’ll be fine. We just got approved May 15th with no RFE! (Requests for further evidence).

Am I correct on the next steps I can do?

call NVC and get our case number, fill out DS160 and medical questionnaire (we already have affidavit of support, police file, medical files, etc assembled)

and then once CEAC says ready we can book our medical and interview ASAP?

also I don’t think it is needed for medical, you just need evidence of your LND number 

What evidence would work?

Does nvc only get your case 2 weeks after NOA2? My NOA2 was he 15th so I’m not sure when would be best to expect it

received noa2 on May 15th.. eagerly waiting for NVC to have our case number. Called Monday with no results, will try again Friday

Interesting, thank you. I think I’ll just screenshot my case status/print that out and hope for the best. I’m here with him and my flight back is June 25th so we are trying to get everything done ASAP LOL

Interesting, what happened when you went to the medical / interview? Did they ask for some sort of proof of your LND number? 

My fiancé and I are trying to figure out if we can skip waiting for his packet 3 to come in and just finish our medical and interview once we get our LND number

Your fiance needs to get the police report from all countries he has lived in.

 

Get the vaccination records from the GP and get any shots that are missing.

 

Get a medical summary from the GP along with a more detailed report of any mental health issues or major medical conditions.

 

You need to complete the I-134 and send it along with supporting evidence (pay stubs/letter from HR/tax returns etc)

 

The DS160 can be completed at any time once you have the LND

 

London applicants book their own interview date these days, I would suggest checking the availability (once your file has arrived in London and CEAC says READY) and then calling Knightsbridge to book the medical - allow at least 5 working days between the medical and interview, possibly more as they seem to be slow getting the results to the embassy lately.

 

CEAC is the case tracking service, it let's you know when your case has left NVC for London, arrived in London and when the visa is issued - you need your LND number to use it.

 

I have probably missed something so apologies in advance!

do you happen to know if we would be able to book his medical without him getting his “packet 3”? Someone said they showed a printout or screenshot of their CEAC page as proof of their case number and it worked. I just don’t want to wait for a letter that might take ages to come.

We received NOA2 on May 15th. I will begin calling this week to see if they have our LND case number - my fiancé is from the U.K.

My plan is the following, once we get our case number:

Finish filling out his medical questionnaire

Fill out DS-160

Fill our notification of readiness

Book/attend medical - ???

inteview - ???

ive read that the “packet 3” letter isn’t required to go to your London medical, so we don’t plan on waiting for that to come in the mail if we don’t have to. Someone said that they just showed a printout or screenshot of CEAC with their case number, and it worked for the medical.

My question is, what exactly is CEAC and when do I need to fill it out? I know it requires our case number - I’m just not sure when to fill It out. Will it be ok to start that as soon as we get our case number so we can book our medical?

hopefully this makes some sort of sense, LOL. We are hoping to do things as quickly as we can. We have everything required for the interview and medical, minus the things listed above. So would we be able to just get our case number, fill out the missing forms, get CEAC filled out and then book our medical?

you are able to call them and get your LND number, and we have everything already needed such as the police certificate etc.. which is why I wanted to know if we could skip the packet

Hi, we just got our NOA2 today. We have already compiled the affidavits of support, medical files, passport photos, etc needed for his Interview and medical in london. (he is from the UK).

My question is, since we already have basically everything together (minus the case number and DS-160, since we just got our noa2 today,) is the packet that is being mailed to his home in the UK necessary for us to book and attend his medical in London?

Like I said we already have basically everything needed, we just wanted to know if it was possible to go ahead and get the medical out of the way as soon as we get our case number. I'm not sure which would come first, our case number, or him receiving his packet, so this may be an irrelevent question - I'm just too excited to think clearly haha!

my received date on the old website is the 22nd, NOA1 is nov 27th (says this on the new site too)I thought cases were approved by NOA1 date? 

anyone able to clarify for me? Getting super excited seeing all the cases being worked on!
