Any of you March filers, who had Biometrics Waived, from the Potomac Service Center?
Lol nope! And I'm also living in South Florida.

Yea- I couldn’t find National Benefits Center as a processing center for this I751 petition! That’s why I’m feeling confused. Didn’t see it on the webpage
For MSC receipt numbers/NBC Service center, you will need to look at field offices processing times for the I-751. Since as a bulletin from AILA stated that MSC cases tend to require an interview at the field office.

I think it means that they couldn't deliver your receipt notice for whatever reason. So they sent it back to USCIS. Follow the instructions in the notification to request it be resent. Ensure that your address is accurate especially if you live in an apartment or gated community.

Just a quick update -- package sent 3/12, UPS confirmation of delivery on 3/15.
USCIS charged the card late last week (can't say for sure but probably 4/8.)
We received the NOA for the I-751 in today's mail (4/12) so pretty much exactly one month for us.
As everyone has said, the NOA states there's an 18 month extention for the existing conditional green card.
It might matter to some that at no point did our USCIS online account reflect any action. It still doesn't (e.g. we have a paper NOA for our new filing, but the account is showing our last activity was more than a year ago.)
Try adding your case manually with the receipt number. There should be an option there in the drop down button.

My medical appointment is taking too long. Can I apply without the medical exam?
You can apply without the medical exam. I applied in October 2017 without the medical, received a courtesy letter to bring it to the interview or if I receive a RFE asking for the medical to do so at that point. Recently completed my AOS interview (adjusting from a B2 visa) and presented the medical in a sealed envelope to the IO. Received approval the same day.

Thanks for sharing your interview details!
Did you have to retake the medical exam for the interview? I got a letter from the USCIS with some instructions regarding that exam. It said that the exam is valid for two years of filing if the filing date was no more than 60 days before filing for the I-485.
I didn't submit the medical at the same time as the I-130/I-485/I-765 in October 2017. I received a courtesy letter from the USCIS to bring it to the interview about a month after submitting the documents. As such, I did it right before the interview and presented it to the IO in a sealed envelope.

Interview was today at Oakland Park, FL field office. Arrived 30 mins before interview time (10am). Got called in by the IO a few minutes after we arrived. We took an oath/swore us in, then explained the consequences about presenting false documents and making false statements. Then he gave us an INA (Immigration and Nationality Act) 216 notice explaining that upon the approval the I-485, I will be given a conditional green card, then he made us sign the notice, he witnessed it. Then he gave us copy of the notice.
First part of the interview, he verified addresses and asked us to present the originals of the birth certificates and passports of my husband and I. Then he proceeded into questions:
What does my husband do for a living?
Which legal area does my husband practice in?
(To my husband) am I employed? where do I work?
What's the name of my mother in law? my husband was also asked this question
Their occupation
Asked my husband if my mother has a US visa
He asked me the name of the colleges my husband attended
Asked my husband how many siblings do I have, if he has met any of them, their names
Timeline of our relationship....how did we meet, where was our first date, when we decided to get married.
It was a good interview, my husband is the real mvp lol. But anyways he told us he will double check our information and then should receive an update in a couple days. Then 4 hours later I received an update "Case was Approved" for both the I-485 AND I-130

Went on a cruise with the advance parole, no issues coming back in. Just be open to staying at the port of entry or airport until they finish processing you. Will ask a couple questions, just be polite, humble and cooperative.

If you're in the south florida area, I'm recommending a clinic where you can get your medical(I-693) done at a very reasonable cost. They're one of the cheapest in the area, if not the cheapest. Visit Medical Center International located on Sheridan Street, Hollywood Fl.

Hi any AOS interview scheduled recently? I have Oct 2017 date.
Hi friend, recently got my interview notice letter, interview scheduled for April 24th...Oakland Park, FL field office though. My priority date is October 11th, 2017. Not sure if that helps with peace of mind, but both Oakland and Miami are about the same for processing times.
-
So today, I finally got a notification through email and messages that my interview was scheduled. Now I'm waiting on the physical letter with the date.
-
I'm checking to see if anyone from Oakland Park has recently gotten an interview letter or attended an interview. Please reply below with your priority date. I'm wondering where the heck they might be in dates.

I know its getting so frustrating. But it does make sense. they may not call it discrimination but probably they would call it as "preference" because if I put myself in the shoes of hiring managers, one might take into consideration whether to hire someone who has stronger ties to the country and most likely to stay longer and not have "Expiry" date stapled on their work permit. I got asked on my interview several times what kind of work pemrit/visa I have, until when my EAD card is valid and when I think my green card will come out and I don't even have a solid answer as to when it will be adjudicated.
Competition is so high here in florida, you could be battling with 100 to 200 other candidates for one position (as per me stalking on linkedin), A hiring manager would probably think why fight for one uncertain candidate if there is another candidate in line with almost the same credentials.
I feel like florida is an ideal place if you are in the medical field.
YUP I agree with you dear on all points. Sigh...it's really frustrating. If it isn't one thing, it's another.

Thank you, I know the rule is stated such but sometimes you may never know the exact reason why they choose to hire you, fire you etc. It can be for that reason because of your immigration status but they can always claim otherwise. I was in the legal field back home and I just can't understand why it's so hard to get a job in my field...idk maybe south florida is really saturated.

I'm on the same boat
I've applied to several jobs since getting my EADI've been on final stages on interviews with several copmanies and often get asked about my EAD, validity and timeline of my green card.
I never got an offer although hiring managers initally seems positive about employing me.
Not sure if the EAD mattered or i'm just not qualified haha
Hey hun, i'm here wondering the same thing about the EAD, been doing dozens of interview with also the same questions. I'm starting to believe that it does matter whether its an EAD you have or green card.

I-751 March 2021 Filers
in Removing Conditions on Residency General Discussion
Posted
Last time posting here. An update:
I-751 Priority date: March 2021
Applied N-400: August 2, 2022
N400 interview scheduled: October 13, 2022
Interview: Dec 1, 2022
Oath ceremony notice was mailed: Dec 1, 2022
I-751 still showing fingerprints was taken. Status since 2021.
Brought my husband with me but IO told him to wait outside. IO went straight to the N400 questions and testing. Asked 5 questions (mainly political). He only confirmed my biographical data for I-751. Asked me if I wanted to add anything new...gave him 2021 tax return transcript, car title, auto insurance update. I asked him if he wanted more info, he said he had enough. After that, he said "congratulations...you passed the test and you're approved. Ceremony letter will be mailed in a few days". Received an update in uscis case tracker a hour later that "Oath ceremony notice was mailed". Letter was available in uscis online account.
