Maricel had her embassy interview in Manila this morning (Philippines time), and was approved!!!!

I finally scheduled my interview for March 8th!! Only 11 days. Super nervous and super happy. 

We got APRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRROOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOVVVVVVVVVVVVEEEEEEEEEEDDDDDDDDD!!!
 
No update online, but he got it in the mail.

Hello everyone.
 
Part three of June Filers! Omg! What an active group. 
 
I just wanted to let you all know that our NOA2 was November 22nd.
 
We proceeded with booking the medical for the 7th Feb and the interview was today 22nd at the new US London Embassy.
 
They approved the visa. It should arrive within 7-10 days. 
Planning on moving to the USA in April. Woohoo!!

Kinda Looking Up whats Next, Any Info Would Be Nice  Good Luck To All June Filers ! 

From what my fiancé said he basically asked who were in the pictures and scanned the pictures. He also asked questions such as how did you propose and what kind of work does your fiancé do etc.  He didn’t take all the documents,  they took the tax statements the DS 160 but no call logs or chat logs.  My fiancé went at 1 PM so there was no wait there was only one other guy there and he was in and out within about an hour. He said that the person asking questions in such a conversational manner that it was easist interview he’s been on.

I’m happy to say my Fiancé did the interview (Wednesday) at the consulate in Lagos, Nigeria (without his physical results) and was approved but had to bring them to DHL the next day (today) when they were ready. So the wait for the visa is 5 to 10 days. We are sooo happy. Wedding is March 16th.  Thank u all for the support, u kept me sane thru this chaotic process. 

My fiancee got her passport back with her visa in it today.  So glad this stage is over for us, and looking forward to the next. Best of luck to everyone here.

Just got off the phone with Tier II.  They say 2 days ago they sent out a request for initial evidence.  I'm not sure what that is but it is some real information for a change.

YES IT IS!  I will pick up the papers tomorrow and all is well. I hate that this was my mistake. I should have read the petition closer.

Yesterday was a tough day i was up at 5am just because my nerves were all over the place! i waited for my fiance to call me with news but again no text not even before his Interview! there is only 1 hour difference so i was going nuts until 11am USA time when i saw his name on my phone I PICKED UP AND SAID YES HELLO WHAT HAPPEN HE RESPONDED HAPPEN WITH WHAT !!! IM LIKE LISTEN BOY WHAT HAPPEN HOW DID IT GO !!!! HE RESPONDED HOW DO YOU THINK IT WENT ! I GASPED!! IM LIKE OH YOU WANT TO PLAY GAMES!! HE SAID IM SORRY CAN I CRY A LITTLE WITH YOU BABY VISA APPROVED!!!!!!!!!!! LORD THANK YOU SOOOO MUCH IM READY READY READY!!!!! GOD IS GOOD AND IM PRAYING FOR ALL THAT ARE LEFT 

Woke up this morning with a million messages from my fiancé saying our visa got issued!! Hoping for a flight this Saturday (unlikely) or next Monday!

Wanted to provide an update for fellow Nigerian fiance(e)'s concerning the medical exam, enjoy (note, currency is in Naira):

-Medical Exam is done between 8am-10am, M-F no appt needed. If you come after this time, they will turn you away b/c they "close" by 10am, and will not take any new people and tell you to come back the next day. There really wasnt a long line of people waiting by 8am.
-Next, they will give you a bank slip and advise you to go pay at the needed bank close by (100k).
-Once you come back, they give you a form to fill out, with your name, address, etc of you and fiance(e), once complete, they give you a number.
-Your number is called and you go to a room, strip down to undies/panties and do x-ray; once complete, get dressed and back to waiting room.
-They call you again to a different room where they collect your blood and urine, after that they determine if you need vaccines. My fiancee didnt have any, so it was 10k to get the needed vaccines. She had to go to the bank again and pay the additional 10k and back to waiting room until its time for vaccines.
-Next, they call you to another room and you answer questions from doctor and he will check blood pressure and vision.
-After that, you go back to waiting room and then they advise to come back in two weeks (14 days) to get results packet.
 
total time 6.5 hrs...

I had my interview today. Waited 2 hours and the interview was over in 2 mins. 
 
WE WERE APPROVED!!!!!! K1 VISA  JOURNEY DONE!!!!!!!! No lawyers, just us and visajourney. 
 
He will be coming to NZ to get me in 2 weeks and in 3 weeks we will enter the US .
