@Damara is correct. A new I-864 is not strictly required.
At the same time, and as noted, the IO may request a new I-864 upon learning that the sponsor is no longer employed. It's not unusual at all to be asked if anything changed, what you do for a living, etc.

The best thing to do is to bring a new I-864 (plus joint sponsor's I-864, if needed) plus supporting evidences to the interview. If they ask for a new I-864, you're set. If not, you don't bring it up and just carry on. There is no requirement to provide a new I-864 or inform USCIS of changes in employment / wages/ whaetver after filing.

Chiming in to reiterate your best answers. I agree, don't mail in anything.

Put together your best I-864 before you go to interview. You mentioned "his military payments and my own job and our savings". If that is enough, then go with it. Your job counts as household income toward the total. I can't tell if you are aware of that or not. Read the full instructions again if you aren't aware.
If you still need help toward financial, bring a complete I-864 from Mom with documentation of income and proof that she is a US citizen or LPR. (That is also in the instructions)

There is no information on this because this is not an issue. Regardless of what the above post says- there is no requirement to update the 864 if things change. It is considered accepted and is 'valid at time of submission'. Now the Officer conducting your interview may discover you have a change in circumstances and request an updated form. If your updated form isnt enough you can add a co-sponsor.
You can bring an updated form + cosponsor form with you to the interview but do not offer it unless asked. For most things in immigration its best to be upfront with things- but this is not applicable advice for this situation because again your 864 is VALID as it is. Theres no reason to suggest to the Officer to re- review an accepted and valid form (unless youre into self- flagellation 😮   )

I just expedited my EAD too, to give you an idea of the timeline I called to request the expedite on April 18th, got an email requesting more evidence the next day (April 19th) and submitted the evidence on April 20th.

I heard nothing until today when I got an update to say my card is in production!

My expedite was not based on financial loss but from what I’m seeing a lot of the timelines are similar regardless so hopefully yours will be similar. Sorry I didn’t realise you were asking specifically for that.

You can apply online here https://www.acro.police.uk/police_certificates.aspx or via post (info on website). It costs £45.

You will need your police certificate for your interview too. They are only valid for 6 months so don’t get it too far in advance.

Hi, at Knightsbridge you are required to have a chest X-ray, blood sample taken, urine sample and an examination with a doctor. On the day you must bring with you 4 passport style photos, police certificate, photo ID, vaccination record and a brief medical history from your doctor (outlining any major illnesses or surgeries you have had). There is also a questionnaire to fill out and bring with you. In my experience it was straightforward and everyone was very friendly.

It costs £300 and extra if you require any vaccinations. (Prices listed here http://www.knightsbridge-doctors.com/practice-fees.htm).

The vaccinations required are listed here:
Bare in mind if you are applying on a K visa you aren’t required to have these before your entry into the USA, however you WILL need them when you adjust status to permenant resident so it’s worth considering getting them done at this point.

I just got a update saying that my case is ready to be scheduled for interview too!

I'm not sure whether to get excited about this update or not, just because it's 'ready' doesn't necessarily mean it'll be soon...right? (Although I'm keeping my fingers crossed! ) Does anyone have any idea of the average timescale or significance of this update?

Sorry to hear that I wonder if calling them prompted them to get the text and emails sent out. According to the tracker my case was received on the 26th Feb!

When I called them, I explained the situation and they said they need to transfer my call to the next level officers to find out what was happening since it had been longer than 10 days since I sent the package. I had to request a call back as there was such a high volume of calls, the tier 2 officer called back about 4 hours later and asked my name, date of birth and address to confirm my identity. She was able to find my info on the database and tell me my case had been received and my NOA1 hard copies were in the mail. It's definitely worth giving them a call if you're stressing about it!

Hi I'm on the same timeline as you (AOS package delivered Feb 23rd) and I called USCIS today as I still hadn't heard anything. They said my receipt was in the mail and had been sent on March 8th. I haven't received any texts or emails but I did notice the check had been cashed today. Hopefully it may be the same for you?

I know how much of a worry it is until it’s in your hands, but I think you’ll definitely be fine for the 18th!
