It's hard for me to keep track of everyone but have you contacted the Ombudsman? Details are below if you need the information. Your way be on normal, even for these recent months. It's time to bring out the BIG GUNS.

@AA&JJ you and Amy & John might try both options below.

First try shooting off an email to the Ombudsman at cisombudsman@HQ.DHS.GOV The Ombudsman provides an impartial and independent perspective to USCIS in an attempt to resolve problems.

Second try your U.S. representative's contact information can be found in this handy directory, and your U.S. senator's information is in this one.

If you receive a response and it contains anyone of these sentences this will be the meaning of that phrase.

If the CSC response is due to a congressional case worker inquiry, the service center will say "security checks"

If the CSC response is from a regular service inquiry from their website, the service center will say "adjudication"

thanks. we have done both. ombudsman is still waiting to be assigned to an officer and congress has sent off inquiry and we are awaiting response.

Welp, I got some good news. Case has been approved!!:D:D

Old site: November 14th, not updated still says received,

New Site: November 16th, approved case July 19th

iPhone app: November 14th, not updated, still says received.

For those still waiting, please be strong and keep the faith . I had two more inquiries submitted (4 total). I believe they do work.

    Noa1: November 14th, 2017

    Noa2: July 20, 2018

    8. 2 months total, no RFE

You got approved????? Congrats!!! More hope ours will be soon.

As pointed out already, I received the exact same message as well as everyone else who sends an inquiry. The service centers send the same message to everyone. And they'll just send the exact same message again if you request another service inquiry in another 30 days

It doesn't mean it hasn't been touched, it means there is a security background check issue they need to further investigate. As greenbaum pointed out, it's now a waiting game. If you can wait long enough for the NOA2 you win the game. If you withdraw, panic, change your mind, then they have won the game. Some posters withdraw and that's the end of it. Other posters stick it out but for me there is no question what my option is: Stick it out.

the one above sais due to security checks... ours doesn't even say that it just sais pending adjudication which sais to me..... security hasn't even been done?

im worried our case is lost.

She can. I just offered how to do it.

have done both these things. no response. ombudsman can take up to 120 days for a response.

Did you speak to a level 2 person? Just doesn’t make any sense! You should be able to file a claim for out of processing time

have been put through once to a tier 2... well not me as im the beneficiary but my fiancé did the other day and the guy said im in new York and cannot see anything because im not in California.

they just lie. I have done two out of processing inquiries and basically had no answers.

I’m very sorry!!! How can that be 😫! You must be able to file an investigation or get some kind of answer from the government about your file!?!?!?! You have called and got no help!?!?!?!? Just doesn’t seem right 😢. I truly hope you get some kind of clarification/Anwser soon!!!

we have called... they do not help. we have been given no answers on our file not even to say its still in security checks. slowly but surely loosing hope we will get our NOA2.

seems like some petitions just don't get looked at ever.

Im wondering if we are sending enough proof, re photos. We have only visited each other once in our relationship.

we sent about 10 photos us together in Australia and the usa, also photos of me with his family. my parents wrote a statement saying that had met and had my fiancé stay with them when he visited.

plus copies of passport stamps and boarding passes for our visits.
