I like it!
The name and DOB at the top in the wavy style is as bit different, and I don't remember my fingerprint being on the 2-year card, but I could be wrong. I keep it in the paper wallet to keep it safe so it's not that visible to me, but good to know it's there.
I'm ridiculously happy to have it, even if it's only for a few weeks.

Mikey888 reacted to Amadia in Need advise for my upcoming interview
I am sorry that you had to endure this uprooting of your life to come to America and then be mistreated this way by your spouse and his family.
Needless to say that you aren't the first to go through this and you definitely won't be the last but there are ways to overcome this. Go to your interview and be as honest in your answers as possible.
Truth gleams through and when people are genuine in their replies, the officer can usually tell the fake from the reality.
Chin up, you got this!

Mikey888 got a reaction from Tm and Je in N-400 and I-751 combo pending
Today, I had my combo interview and I passed. Woot, Woot.
The N400 letter didn't say it was a combo interview but I brought my spouse anyway. Good thing I brought my spouse or else I will be back again and wait to be rescheduled for another interview which may take 30-60 days.
The I-751 interview process didn't take long, IO just verified what you wrote on your application was true and checked documents. N400 interview didn't last 5 minutes.
Finally, I am done with the processing of documents. IO said to expect "Oathtaking letter" in the next 20 days or so.

Hey guys,
I had my joined interview in Denver, CO yesterday .
Here is details:
I arrived to the interview with my husband, there were not so many people in the lobby and officer called me just a 1-2 minutes later from the my scheduled appointment time. Even before we entered to the main door she told me that it will be joined interview for the two cases and asked if my husband is here. I said yes, and she told that she will conduct the N-400 interview first and then will invite my husband for I-751 review. I passed the test and she started to give me some questions connected our marriage: where do we live, how much is the rent, how many rooms, how we pay bills, how we met, even how we spent the Christmas holidays ... all the kind of questions that may proof that our marriage is faithful... then she asked some questions from the application form: if I ever was a part of any terrorist organization, communist party etc... then she moved to the I-751 case, I asked her if she wants to invite my husband now, she said no, but she also asked some questions connected to our marriage, collected all the bills, taxes, insurances for the last two years . At the end she gave me form saying that I passed the Citizenship test and I'm recommended for the Oath ceremony, also she said, she needs to approve my I-751 case first and then she will be able to move forward with N-400 and put me in line for the Oath. She promised she will approve I-751 by the end of the day. But I don't see any changes online yet....
Also I complained that this February will be 2 years since I filed I-751, she said that this kind of application is not in priority, and they are focusing on the citizenship applications, so it might be worth it to file N-400 , while waiting for i-751...
Good luck to everybody!

To update, my husband had his N-400 interview in Boston today. His appointment was for the first thing in the morning so it was not crowded and they were running right on time. I went with him just in case I was needed for the open I-751. When he was called I went up with him but the CO said I was not needed. My husbands interview was very short, he was gone maybe 5 minutes. They confirmed a few of the questions, asked him to read and write a sentence, asked 6 civics questions (stopped at 6 as he got them right) and then said they had enough and would schedule the oath! The CO said the I-751 will be adjudicated and he was all set. The CO did mention that the oath ceremony is a bit delayed due to a backlog from the government shutdown. All said and done, it went very smoothly!

They will most likely do an I-751 interview, approve you on the spot and proceed with the N400 interview.

I have EAC1803**** receipt number too for I-751 and status still "Case Was Received At My Local Office" since September 27, 2018.
For N400, they scheduled my interview on February 26. Hopefully, they approve my I-751 before N400 interview.

I received notification that my N400 interview has been scheduled today. When I checked DHS, there was no interview letter yet.
My I-751 is still pending. Hopefully, it is a combo interview.

They aren't making you spend more money. The 18 month letters are a new thing and it seems not everyone is being sent them - previously everyone did the infopass around the 12 month mark anyway. If you knew the trip was coming up, then perhaps you should have planned ahead for this.
Your method will work - and is your only option once out of the US as you can't get an I-551 stamp outside of the country - although on top of the cost you will have hassle at the embassy, hassle at the airport, and hassle at immigration.
Can you not attempt a walk in TODAY for a stamp, or tomorrow? Maybe even delay your travel by a day or two - a flight change fee should be less than the cost of the transportation letter.
They certainly look more favourably on walk-ins with proof of imminent travel so they may see you, although not guaranteed.
