Call the 800-375-5283 and say infopass to the computer and it will ask few questions and it will put you hold for a live agent. When you get the live agent, ask for an infopass appointment because you will be travelling. Where is your local office?

also i will suggest to call early morning so the wait will be less. I called last friday around 7.30 AM CT and my wait was 34 mins

My wife's 18 months extension letter is  expiring next month, should I call USCIS for infopass appointment or wait for the new extension letter(24 month). We are planning to travel overseas in the end of Dec-21. side note my case status as of right now is "case is ready for interview to schedule". If somebody can help me which number to call for infopass and what to tell the agent?

Hey! So my status changed online on 11/4/2020 and I am still waiting for the letter though up to this day it has not changed ever since. Does it really take this long? It’s more than a month now.

Chicago field office is on backlog with cases. Currently, I saw someone in a FB forum with January 2019 NOA receipt date got interview this March in Chicago. So I believe the Chicago field office is working on January 2019 cases. When is your NOA receipt date?  Mine status says ready to be Scheduled for an interview since December 2020.  You will not get anything in mail for this status change. When your status change from Ready to be scheduled to Scheduled for an interview, then they will sent a letter with your interview date and time. Until that, we have to wait. It will be a year or 15 months when we expect to see that status change unfortunate.

There is one from AOS and IV and also the one with check marks? I know I have to send the check box one but do i send the one from IV fees or AOS? They both looks the same except one as ATTS: CMR  and other has ATTS: CMR AOS? thanks in advance.

Along with check marks sheet, you can send either one of it or both. I send both.
