Thank you so much! This is exactly what I needed!
I have been reading about "side-loading" at the NVC stage but I see that a lot of people don't do that, including you so I think I am not going to do it..if anything I guess I will have him bring evidence to the embassy (chat logs, wedding photos, phone logs etc)
Yeah bring to Interview. I told my wife to bring wedding photos, chat and phone logs, the cards & letter i sent to the interview. I believe that more you send, the more time from them to review it.

Hey all,
I am waiting for my case number from NVC and wanted to go ahead and get everything ready for the NVC process and I have a few questions.
Since I just filed for my taxes for 2017, should I just include the W-2 + 1040 and the IRS transcripts for 2016, 2015 and 2014? I also have recent paystubs and can easily get an employment letter signed by my supervisor.
For the AOS packet therefore I will have:
Barcoded cover sheet that we get after paying AOS bill
Cover letter
I-864 filled out
W2 plus tax return for 2017 and IRS transcripts for 2016, 2015 and 2014
Employment letter
Recent Paystubs
Also question about the I-864: the question about immunization on the DS-260, I don't think my husband has all the immunizations, can we just state what we have on the form? He will probably end up getting whatever else he needs during the medical appt right?
For the IV Packet
Barcoded Cover Sheet that we get after paying IV Bill
Cover Letter
Copy of Beneficiary's passport
Copy of Beneficiary's birth certificate + certified translation
Copy of Marriage certificate
Copy of Beneficiary's Police Clearance Certificates
Ofcourse with the case number on all the documents!
Does this all sound enough? Am I missing something?
Also When I include the copy of the IRS transcripts and W2 etc, does he have to bring the "Originals" to the interview? I only have copies of everything.
Thanks for answering!
Hello,
Since you are submitting Tax Return for 2017 with W2, you did not need 2014. They only need the recent tax return or tax transcript, but it is good to give three years.
Seem like you have everything covered. I did not see anything you missed. This is how i arrange my package
Coverletter that explains what i have in the package sent both the IV and AOS
Then i have Document Cover Sheet Checklist (got from welcome letter)
i have 2 Manila Envelopes: one for IV and one for AOS
In IV Manila Envelope i put (on the Envelope i put Beneficiary full name, DOB and my name, DOB and Case number)
1. Immigrant Visa Document Cover Sheet (after paying IV Bill)
2. Photocopies of Supporting Documents of beneficiary
· Valid, unexpired passport biographic data page
· Birth Certificate
· Marriage Certificate
· Police Certificates
In AOS Manila Envelope i put ( on the Envelope i put Beneficiary full name, DOB and my name, DOB and Case number)
1. Affidavit of support Document Cover Sheet
2. Financial Documents
· Signed form I-864EZ
· 2016 Tax Transcript
· 2015 Tax Transcript
· 2014 Tax Transcript
· Form W-2s for 2016, 2015 and 2014
· Letter of Employment
Pay Stubs last 6 months
And all of this i put UPS Courier and sent it out.
Here is a sample Cover letter i used

People who are submitting their i864 AOS forms. what years are you guys writing in field 19a, 19b, 19c? haven't submitted my 2017 tax returns yet but will include my 2017 w2 and 2016 tax transcript in aos documents. so should it be 2016, 2015, 2014 or 2017,2016,2015?
I put 2016,2015 and 2014.

Because they are asked for it. It says so on the checklist they get from the NVC with the welcome letter. And I’ve seen people say that they sent in only the transcripts and got a checklist for the missing W2.
Here is an actual checklist that someone got with the welcome letter stating the doc that they need to send in.
Did you get your case number yet?

Yes, 3 years of W2's is what I meant. I think either IRS tax returns of W2's but best to take both in case, and thanks for clarification on the passport copy.
i was reading again about the passport, i am little confused now. For family based visa, it is say this "Proof of the U.S. petitioner’s status and domicile in the United States (photocopy of a U.S. passport, naturalization certificate, or legal permanent resident card)." So i think it is good to bring copy of passport of the US spouse

I have put a list together for everyone to review and add to that we all at some point need to take to the interview. Could you please let me know if I am missing anything?
The below + Bona Fide Evidence + any documents that NVC requests to bring to the interview from checklist if applicable.
From my understanding, I-864 needs to original (signed) instead of copy but the other financial documentation should be photocopies.
Thanks!
for Passport -a photocopy of the biographic page (where your name and photo are located).
Payment receipts not necessary but good to have it in case
You bring either Tax Transcripts or Tax return, not both.
You meant last 3 years of W2
No need of photocopy of US Passport, just need beneficiary passport copy (unless US spouse is not in USA, then you need prove domicile in the United States)

" A signed Affidavit of Support from your petitioner and any additional financial sponsors who submitted a Form I-864 on behalf of your visa application. Applicants may bring photocopies and scanned versions of signed Forms I-864 and associated documents. (Please note that the form must still be signed; typed names and electronic signatures will not be accepted.)" https://travel.state.gov/content/travel/en/us-visas/immigrate/the-immigrant-visa-process/interview/interview-prepare/required-documents.html
Per this website photocopy of signed I-864 form is fine

@sibz @harsh2010 @Jatinpatel027 Guys any idea how long would it take if visa approved on interview day before we get our passport back? And side question: do we receive the packet with passport that we turn over at POE?
Based on my research, i see people getting passport back within a week or less. You get the packet after the interview i believe. i read somewhere that
