My EAD card is being produced after about 160 days. AP still says case is received. 

My hubby had to take a written test as well as a road test when he applied for his license. He was only allowed to drive unsupervised when he passed his road test. We we also advise even if he had a license from another country he needed have at least one practice with a professional driving school prior to the road test. Hope this info helps

Interviewed at the Washington DC Field Office this morning. Checked-in at the main lobby after going through airport style security. Directed to the second floor. Waited about 15 minutes before getting our names called. Escorted to the adjudicator's office. Was told our application was straight-forward. Took the oath. Asked about our relationship, specifically how we met; when we visited; and the wedding. Then adjudicator proceeded to go through the standard yes/no questions about criminal record; have we ever been married; etc. Then gave us some time to ask questions. Ask if we had any photos, which we did. Adjudicator asked if they could keep the photos for their file. Said yes. Did not have to provide any additional paperwork (recent tax filings, pay stubs or anything like that). Finally, told we were approved and that we should receive our green card in about two weeks. In and out in less than 45 minutes.
 
Thanks everyone for your help. Couldn't have had a straight-forward application without all the clear guides and instructions from this site.

   My husband received his Green Card in the mail one week after our interview!!!.
 
We are both breathing a sigh of relief and we are happy to have an almost 2-year break from immigration.  Wishing you all a successful trip on the rest of your journeys.

  My husband and I had our Green Card interview today.  All in all, it was a great experience.
 
Our interview was scheduled for 12:10pm and we arrived at 12:00pm.  We sat in the waiting room until 12:15 when we were called in the back by a nice female officer.  She first took our IDs, then she took my husband's picture and finger prints.  After that, we both stood up for our oaths.  She started by asking us to submit any additional materials that I wanted to.  I gave her an updated I-864, proof of our relationship, and a few pictures (Although  brought 70 pictures, she only kept about 15 of them).  She then proceeded to ask me questions from our I 485, then my husband the same questions.  After tediously going through all the questions on our I-485, she asked us how we met, how we decided to become a romantic couple, and our proposal/when we decided to get married?  That was basically it.  After all of that, she gave me back the updated I 864, because she said since we were already qualified from the I 864 that was submitted in August and we hadn't filed our 2018 taxes, nothing has changed in our financial status, so she didn't need it.  After that, she told us everything looks good for us to be approved, she just needs to complete a final background check, which she plans to have completed tomorrow since there are no interviews scheduled.  She said we could check our case status online, but if we don't receive our Green Card within 30 days, make an info pass appointment and come back to the office so they can see if it got lost in the mail.  We were out and done by 1pm.
 
It was a very casual conversation; and it is very true that as long as you are telling the truth and have nothing to hide, this is an easy part of the process.

I would like to add that maybe it’s a better idea to wait to leave the country until you get your green card just to be on the safe side. Most likely we will get our green cards fairly soon.
 
But if you have to leave the country, I wouldn’t be that worried.

You can travel for business or pleasure but this said, USCIS does not guarantee that they will let you back in even if you have Advance Parole. They stress this multiple times in the letter you receive when your Advance Parole is sent. Also, if you have unlawful presence you could potentially still be barred from entering to the United states back after departure. 
 
Supposedly to be let back in is still to the discretion of the CBP officer who you encounter at the point of entry.
 
Now, I have read a lot of experiences of people traveling with Advance Parole and I have not seen them run into issues. They just make you go to another room, take your Advance Parole card, input your date and then let you go; usually no questions asked.
 
I am going on a cruise on the 17th of this month and will update you guys when I come back with my experience.

Hello everyone, very glad to find this thread on here with my fellow new yorkers. I just want to give people some news. My PD is May 24, 2018 and I am very happy to just received my appointment notice in the mail. My interview will be at Federal Plaza downtown on Feb 13th. It has been a long wait but here comes the most important (probably nerve-wracking) step in this whole process. Getting ready to prep for this very soon!
 
Wishing everyone a smooth timeline and don't lose hope. I am very happy that my case has about 8.5 months wait. I was expecting much longer to be honest. 

For me the regular USCIS website has proven to be more reliable. This is where I have gotten all my updates and the “card is being produced” didnt even show up on MY USCIS until a day later. Although in the MYUSCIS it shows my i-131 as approved and in the regular just as received.
 
But thankfully my card has been mailed as of today according to the regular USCIS.

Hang on in there, it will happen soon. Be sure to check your status on MY USCIS site, i did this and found out mine had been approved for a week and didn’t even know as it hasn’t been updated on the main site. Good luck  

Hi everybody! 168 days later... NEW CARD IS BEING PRODUCED! NOA1 was August 17th, we submitted from New-York and were handled by the National Benefits Center. 
 
I suppose I should receive the card in about a week?!

My case was approved and card is being produced. 😁 
Finally! I was beginning to think this shutdown was going to be the end of me 🤣
Hopefully I get my card in the mail soon.

EAD/AP combo card has been delivered and received today. 2 days earlier than USPS tracking initially stated!!!!! 😀

Update to our case..... letters we received back in December were not his approval letters but NOA1 letters we never received when they accepted our AOS filing.
 
Today, we received his EAD/AP combo approval letters and just 10 minutes ago the tracker updated saying card was picked up by USPS and we have our tracking number. Total days from NOA1 to NOA2 is 166 days.
 
Our filing date is August 10th. 
 
Now we wait for our interview at the Philly field office which I don't expect until July.

Hey guys, I would like to share with you guys my good news!! Finally my interview was scheduled!! I am so happy! 😍
I have not received EAD or Parole! Does anybody know how long it takes to receive the letter with the interview date after this status?
