Luis Nunes reacted to Brazil2USA2016 in I-130 to I601-A - What's in between?
Yea so he has a removal in absentia order against him. The problem is we cant file for the 601a until we have an approved i130 (hopefully any day) and we sucessfully have his absentia order administratively closed.

Luis Nunes reacted to Simplysmiling in I601a Mexico 2018 processing time
I sent ours in October and just had our Bio done last week. Most of the newer comments are still waiting on an approval. You should hear something back in about 2-4 weeks. After that, that's when the waiting game begins. But it seems as if you are using the potomac address you may move faster then the rest of us. Good luck, you are not alone in this journey.

Do I need to fill out both or what guarantee is that going to give me if we are approved that he can come back . Luis Nunes reacted to Tristan1978 in I-130 transfered to NBC

Luis Nunes reacted to Shahinda& Ahmed in I-130 transfered to NBC
My case was transferred from Potomac to national benefits center like yours. I just received a letter for me to come to my local field office for an initial interview after being at the national benefits center. Since your case was transferred in March you may not hear anything until September. I was told it takes them six months to process the case. When I received the transfer letter they also told me to speed up the process. Some lawyer have said when your case is transferred to national benefits center it is because they want you to come in for an interview. I have to come in for an interview so that is true for me. Anyway you may receive a decision without interview or you may have to come in for interview.

Luis Nunes reacted to Brazil2USA2016 in I-130 Transferred to NBC (National Benefits Center)
The case was transferred from NBC to my local office. We were approved (at a marriage interview in Philadelphia) on Feb 1 2017. So it took from July to Feb.

Which question did you fill the boxes in, Form I-130 page 8, 61A thru C or 62A thru C?

Luis Nunes reacted to Brazil2USA2016 in I-130 Transferred to NBC (National Benefits Center)
yes. we were transferred to nbc in July. i did a congressional inquiry in October amd found my case was transferred to my local office. Then ombudsman told me in December that we were awaiting the scheduling of an interview. Then i received notice of an interview in the mail in january. then we had interview in feb 1 and were approved. if the beneficiary is in the country they automatically schedule an interview.

Luis Nunes reacted to crmathew1 in USC filing for Spouse
If you look under the timelines, you will get an idea for how long to wait. A lot of us waited for anywhere between 200-300 days before the I-130 got approved...they also give you an estimate for your approval under your own timelines. Also, if you click on "immigration timelines" there is a list of "Processing dates for common forms" which is gathered from user data and is more up to date than the USCIS website...just look at them to get an idea
