So is the process faster then last yr my lawyers office just sent our I-160A 2 weeks ago

I’m not sure. Ours was sent in February. A lot of people are saying it takes anywhere from 4-6 months. I’m keeping my fingers crossed that it’s fast for us all. :D

If your other half is in Mexico you have a good 12 to 14 month to wait. Welcome to the club and good luck to us all!

I think your referring to the i601 not the i601a right? I know that the i601 has about 12-18 months waiting time. The i601a is a lot shorter wait time. I’ve seen people post on here that they’re getting approved in about 4 months. Good luck to you and I hope it goes fast!!:D

Hello,

I wanted to start a new thread for those of us who just sent in our i60a Wavier packet in 2018. I just received our receipt notice today 3/1 and our case is in the Nebraska Service Center. I have read on other threads that this is something new for 2018? I wish everyone luck and hopefully we can move on to the next part quickly!!!😉😀

Wavier received 2/12/18

Receipt received 3/6/18

Ours was received  2/9/18. Just wondering - did you get a fingerprint appointment yet?

No, I keep checking daily for it. I have heard that about a week after receiving the receipt they send you the biometrics appointment but I have got nothing yet:wacko:

Hi! Ours was received on 3/1/18 and we received the notice date on 3/12/18. We have it at the Nebraska Center as well.

We are now waiting for the biometrics

Please keep me updated on your process and any info you may know. I am doing this process with my mom and I feel alone

Don’t worry, we are all in the same process. This really can be overwhelming and feels like it’s moving at a snails pace. As soon as I hear something I will post. Seeing other people move on to the next step that are close to my dates gets me a little excited. It means that soon it will be our turn! Good luck to you:jest:

Hi , new to your thread :) I wish you all of the best luck! We are all in the same boat and we all need a lot of support and information.

My case is Nebraska too and mine was accepted and recieved on 2/14/18 and I recieved my biometrics paper appt on 2/23/18 and I had my fingerprints appt set for 3/16/18. Now I am just waiting, I believe for the waiver to be approved and then get appt overseas?

I hope everyone gets some news soon and best of luck again. 🙏🏻

Welcome!!

Your case is close to mine! I will be keeping an eye on your updates.. lol:jest:

I still haven’t received our letter for the biometrics. Hopefully this weekend. I feel like our post office always delivers things a few days later then normal. Good luck to you!
