Hey all,
My husband called teir 2 officer and this is what we got so far.
 
-if the pd date passed. It shouldn't be long til we hear approval/rfe/or sent to nvc
- once they start reviewing the petition it can take 3-5 days to review (depends on all the things they need to check, and how fast the officer assaigned is, example, some officers get 2 a day approved and  some get 5 )
- we asked why some pd dates after us are getting approved? and they said  they have about 120-128 officers working on all the petitions, each agent is given a stack of petitions,  so approval on  pd dates wont go in order and that's why approvals are all over the place.
 
Let's try to to be patient. I know some of us have waited longer than others and and it truly is heartbreaking, but all you we can do is keep focus, and keep busy in the mean time.
 In the end we have eternity of happiness waiting for us

Our case has finally been approved as of November 3, 2017. I can stop crying. Our PD November 23, 2016.

I got an email that my petition has been approved and sent to NVC today.PD February 7,2017.I wish everyone  who is still waiting good luck..We all will overcome this lengthy and heartbreaking process.

Congrats to those approved too❤️🇺🇸I checked the website today and called USCIS yesterday...nothing had changed!! YET, today in the mail we got our NOA2!!!! Dated Oct 30th!! Crazy, my husband was visiting for Oct, and left Oct 29th back to Quiti lol So yasssss!!! sometimes the online portion is not updated!!! Good luck!! We are almost done!!!

Good day everyone, we received good news yesterday morning Oct.30. Our case has been approved! 
PD:Dec.15
Rfe:Aug.15
uscis received our rfe response: Oct. 11
NOA2: Oct.30
exactly 2 weeks after rfe response we got Approved! Since we sent our rfe, everyday im checking at uscis app if there’s an update but still in the case status still “rfe response was received” and even at this moment when i checked. But yesterday morning my hubby received a letter..and that was the noa2. 
hope u guys will have also good news before oct.ends..or soonest! God is Good.☝️
 

FINALLY!!! I mean FINALLY I received my APPROVAL letter. PD Nov 29, Approval Date Oct 20, Letter received on Oct 27th. Hope you guys hear soon regarding your case. It has been an insane journey, but Faith is what kept me going. Good Luck everyone still waiting on their case especially Nov and Dec 2016 Filers.

I am sosososo happy to inform my fellow VJ members my application was approved on October 6th. I was checking the site 4 to 6 times online no news. but the mail man brought me the good new on Saturday 10/14/2017. I burst with tears. my PD date was 01/23/2017. I took 252 days for approval I am thankfull to God. I also wish the same to my fellow members don't give up hopes have faith yours will be coming very soon. best of luck 

In my opinion they're just trying to show that they are being more efficient as they've reached jan files so that they can show they're catching up with other service centers. But that's misleading because lot of Dec and November filers and few other filers who filed earlier than us are still waiting to get our approval.  l'm  tracking at least 120 cases filed on same date as mine and these are yet to be approved . Just imagine how many more are still pending in that entire DEC month  Why don't they clear up whats pending and do things in orderly and systematic manner...Its good that lot of jan filers are getting NOA 2 or atleast hearing from them but then what about us?? To me it looks like they're just jumping and probably randomly choosing files without caring about the emotional trauma and torture we all are having to go through. 
 

Got an update that 5 more Dec cases were approved in past 2 days. 4 were filed on 13 and one on 12th Dec. These updates do give me hope but unfortunately there's still no update on mine. It's 303 days and I'm becoming impatient now! 😢

The interview itself took around 10 minutes .. it was around an hour and a half wait for them to check my documents which was all in order and then give my fingerprints.
 
When it was my turn for the interview, the CO greeted me and asked how I was doing and I replied truthfully that I was nervous. He laughed and told me not to be worried. He asked me my husband s name and where I lived in the UAE. Then he asked me how I met my husband and he laughed at some of the stuff I said which made me really comfortable. He asked me if I've met my husband since our wedding reception last August and I told him how my husband and I traveled to India on holiday in May. Then he asked how I kept in touch with my husband and where he worked. He then asked me to wait a minute and came back with a paper and said that explains my rights in case of spousal abuse etc and then I asked him if this means I got an approval and if he wants to see our pictures and stuff. He smiled and said no and that my visa is approved and gave me a white slip. 
 
My case status changed to AP for an hour and then to approved and I was able to pick up my passport the next morning. 
 
The wait was frustrating but this was honestly the easiest part of the process.

I am happy to announce that I just received an email from USCIS-CaseStatus@uscis.dhs.gov and a text (SMS) on my cell for my I-130 petition for USC spouse that there has been recent processing action on my case and that my case status is now "Post Decision Activity"
 
I immediately login into my 'Check USCIS Case Status' on USCIS official website and behold, my case has been APPROVED and the status is "Case Was Sent To The Department of State". The the page also states Next Steps - "We will mail our decision to you. The notice will explain any action you need to take"
 
See my journey stats in my signature below, I have not received any mail with the notice yet. the two apps I've been using to track cases also have the same status as above.
 
From the Case Tracker App (iOS), I am tracking most Nebraska Jan 17 to 24 cases and there are quite a lot of cases with same status as mine (like really a lot) updated today - Oct 12. So everyone still waiting for approval, this means there is a lot of movements and you will be up next for approval soon. 
 
I am really glad I am through with this phase and onto the next phase. I wish you all faster approvals and I will see you soon on NVC phase.

We FINALLY got our approval letter!!! We were PD 11/21 and we apparently were approved on 10/5. There was no email or update on the website. I'm really still in disbelief. I hope this means good news coming asap for those of us who were waiting for so long! 

Got approved today. Well, actually on the 4th of this month. Website didn’t get updated how others have stated and received it through the mail.

I guess but what I will never understand is why Nov would be skipped and they start working on Dec and Jan.. It makes more sense to get all months before Dec competed, then work on months after Dec. Even 1 person who filed in Aug last year and is stuck in Nebraska has not heard back anything. She has contacted everyone and still the rudeness in responses she gets is outrageous.. 
 
A better more efficient and respectful method is needed. We are human, we have hearts and we to want to be with our loved ones. We want to hear their laugh, see their smiles in person, not Skype, not WhatsApp and we want the hug we need by the only one who we love and care about. We desire to spend the holidays and birthdays and wedding anniversary's with our spouse just like anyone who works for immigration does..
 
If any of you who work at immigration either field office, service center or otherwise read these forums, please have a Heart ❤️ and feel our pain and do something about this horrible system. Make your voice heard and felt. 
I pray for this to end soon.

You can send everything in one big envelop and make sure to write case number (Top right) on all documents. Make to sure to send those document to the right address
 
 

they should already have the USC documents with the application and these have been checked at first stage
why do u say u apply?  the USC is suppose to do application and provide all needed douments even the ones from u

BTW mark all documents in upper right hand corner with case #, both names and both DOB's
these document from USC and beneficary need to be sent in 1 mailing / not some from US and some from england

They want civil documents - marriage certs, birth certs, divorce decree
They want financial documents from the usc spouse - tax stuff, employment letter, aos
They want your police certificate
 
Please send copies. I would suggest certified copies. Have the originals ready as they will be needed for interview.
 
Ensure that your spouse does 2 copies of aos with original signature. 1 for nvc the other for you to take to interview.
