I had to check with https://www.uscis.gov/system/files_force/files/form/i-9-paper-version.pdf but it looks like indeed having State ID + SSN that does not say "DHS authorization required" is sufficient for employment.

She was trying to save you some grief. Take in the 10 year card to SSA and DMV. To get the statement printed at the of the card saying "...Employment Authorization required ...." removed. Many state DMVs place very short expiration dates on initial DLs obtained with a 2 year GC, you will likely get a regular expiration dated DL,

If you follow the advice above with SS and the DMV, for employment purposes, you will be fine because an i9 form requires a SS card and driver license. Additionally, even though the card has the wrong date, it was not an error in status. You are a PR and therefore able to work

Hey! I woke up with good news! I saw I was getting something in the mail this morning through the USPS app and I just got the interview letter in the mail. No updates on both websites or app.
My office is Detroit and I sent my application on Oct 15 (NOA Oct 17).
I didn't hear anything back from the EAD though

Hey! I woke up with good news! I saw I was getting something in the mail this morning through the USPS app and I just got the interview letter in the mail. No updates on both websites or app.
My office is Detroit and I sent my application on Oct 15 (NOA Oct 17).
I didn't hear anything back from the EAD though
