We arrived back to our home in Texas with no issues at the border. It was a fun 4 day road trip from Canada. The border patrol officer did question why we were crossing from Canada instead of Germany (where her visa was issued) and when I started to explain the issues due to the travel ban, he cut me off, apologized, and quickly processed our paperwork. It was a good feeling!

We were in Europe and first traveled to Canada and then drove across the US border a few days later. They did question us why we decided to do that, so they might also ask you. For us, we had a valid reason since my employer is in Canada and my vehicle was up there. They didn't ask anything further on that. I hope your experience is just as smooth. Still, I advise that you get on the next plane to USA. The guy is not stable and there's no telling what changes may occur in the next month.

We also went to Refused after the interview. After we submitted the information they consulate asked for, our status changed to Administrative Processing.  This seems normal. Send them what they want and I suspect it will change to AP.

It took 14 days for them to contact us.  Hoping you hear from them this week.

Our case was changed from / to or on the 9th, we haven't been contacted yet, i sent the consulate an email on the 12th and asked for an update and i got the same old response. I am hoping to hear from the consulate soon. Us consulate frankfurt.

Congrats to all!  Also... to us!  We were contacted today by the Frankfurt consulate to finalize our visa application. We'll have to get new police certificates, do a new medical exam, mail it in and wait approximately two weeks for the consulate to finish processing. We're right around 11 months of AP and they are asking us to do it swiftly so that we can avoid having to do another interview (necessary if > 12 months).

We'll have to get new police certificates, do a new medical exam, mail it in and wait approximately two weeks for the consulate to finish processing. We're right around 11 months of AP and they are asking us to do it swiftly so that we can avoid having to do another interview (necessary if > 12 months).

FINALLY! they just called me and gave us an appointment 5 weeks from now for re-oath and submitting documents. 
I hope all of you receive this call guys!

It's quiet here today 

My case changes from mailed/available to and mailed or available today am 2017 December interviewer in Nairobi embassy kenya. Somali nationality 

My spouse (iranian ctzn) was interviewed end of June in yerevan, was put on AP. Interview took about 3 min. The officer requested more documents to be submitted.
we called the embassy 1 month after the interview and were told to mail the missing documents along with the passport. 
The same day they received the documents they released the passport.
I have been following this group for a while and finally decided to join🙏

Today our case got an update and the / changed into or! I am trying to be optimistic and hope this superstitious concept is true  
 
We shall see if we hear something from the embassy! 
 
My case received 4 updates the past 4 weeks (but one of them due to contacting the White House, which I received a response as a result)! 
 
Praying good news comes our ways! 

It seems like that embassy is really proactive with travel ban AP. There was a guy on this forum last fall that pleaded with them and they finished up his wife's AP in 45 days or so... with no medical emergency pending either.  I wish we had interviewed there. The Frankfurt consulate is not bad with responding but it's typically the generic message everyone else gets. I've written the Ambassador a few times and got a more detailed but essentially the same response.

looks like it is moving along.

not sure if you guys noticed, but the numbers for Syria were really better for July 20 issued visas for K1 compared to 2 in June .. keep your hopes up!
