  1. Sorry to keep posting negativity but I broke down yesterday. Waiting for NOA2 is still driving me insane and I can't cope. No RFE request - no action since April 11 (NOA1). I dont know what to do. My fiance doesn't want to call them - last time (and only time) we got a NOA2 they called and told us to wait for the 6 month mark. He wants to just wait for that, because they'll have a note on our case that we were pestering and he doesn't want to give them any reason to deny but I literally cannot cope can someone help me out?

When you call, do you demand to speak with a Tier 2 person?  Have you contacted your US Senator?  Sorry, never know if this is the Petitioner or the Beneficiary.

    No worries!

I'm beneficiary. My fiance got through to a tier 2 once and was refused the other times he tried. The one we spoke to was VERY rude and told us to wait until we are outside of the 6 month period (Oct 11th) before calling again. My fiance doesn't want to harm our case so is cautious to take any further action.

If we (he) did write a letter, I wouldn't be sure what to say, as their website does say it's a 6 month timeframe (sorry if i'm being dim)

  3. Hmm. Day 155 now. My fiance called USCIS and had to push hard to get a Tier 2. When he was called back, the woman told him that we need to wait until October minimum before calling again. We're both scared to call again and push it some more because they note down each time you call. Just gonna sit it out I guess. Getting worried as @Keith & Monica were the longest I'd seen from April at 156 days

  4. Hi all. noa1 waiting on noa2. When asking a tier 2 the following:

    -Has case been touched
    -If YES any officer assigned?
-Backgrouod check done? For Beneficiary and Petitioner
    -Name check done?
    -When can expect update?
-Is there a RFE notice (Request for Evidence)

What do these things prove? eg if there is an office but no name check, that does this mean in terms of processing times/the status of our case

    NOA1: April 25th

Day 140 for me.  I've not heard anything since they transferred my petition to the Texas Service Center on July 28th.  I've called USCIS multiple times and spoken with Tier 2 and they cannot see the reason for the transfer.  I submitted an inquiry August 16th and it has to be responded to by this Friday.

Hopefully an approval will come quickly!

I'm not sure what's going on with Tier 2- I keep reading that people were getting denied a call transfer to Tier 2.  I've never been denied a transfer in the 2.5 years that I've been involved with USCIS.  If this happens, please remind them ( nicely) that per the USCIS Policy Manual, you can request to be transferred at any time.

    Day 154

My fiance was denied a Tier 2 yesterday :(

Good, just try to relax while waiting for the good news :)

Well, the doctor performing the general examination said everything was great, and same with the X-rays, but I'll get the results for the blood and urine tests next week... though it's going to be ok, because I don't have what they are looking for (STD's). The only concern is my varicella test, because the nurse said sometimes you can still not be immune to it even if you had the disease when a kid, but I think that has to be like a one in a million chance and, worse case scenario, I'll get the vaccine right then and there and ask them to update my DS3025 :)

Lol, same here. Actually the nurse said "let's do the paperwork regarding the vaccines first", and I told her "I rather have the blood draw first thing, because I don't like it, so then I can finally relax" :P

How many injections did you have :S

Yep! His health is pretty amazing from what I know, and he tells me everything, so that gives me more confidence. Thank you!!!

It seems most people get through with no issues and lucky for us we have Australia which is a pretty easy medical from everything I've been reading.

As the beneficiary for my case, the only thing I have to fear for the medical is the needles

Hey everyone, my fiancee is on his way right now to Brisbane. He made it to Sydney so he's now on his last Trainlink train and will get there around 5am. I got to speak to him a few times today, and since we talk all the time non-stop, it's just so weird not really talking because of the bad reception. But on the bright side, today he will get there and tomorrow he will have his medical. Yay!!! I seriously can't wait to get this out of the way. He's feeling good and confident about the medical, and I am as well... such lovely people he spoke with on the phone. I think I'm just about obsessed at this point of the process, is this normal? LOL
In the meantime, I am trying to keep my mind off everything as much as possible because the overstimuation is making me too excited and antcy... (ADHD doesn't help.) so I've been trying to stay busy with course work in both my marketing and social science classes. I hope everyone is having a lovely night or day wherever each of you may be. xx

I will also be sure to update everyone with what happened, results, and all that awesome stuff.

Best of luck! From what I've heard there shouldn't be any real issues at the medical stage, and hope he is of sound health!
