    To anyone who can help:

We received our case number and have been informed that our case has been expedited to the Frankfurt embassy. I know that the next steps are ds-160, health check, interview, but how do I necessarily go about doing these things?

-We just filled out the Ds-160 form and printed the confirmation page, but didn't see anywhere where it said to pay for it? So, how do we pay for it?

-how can I schedule the interview and how long after the health check can we schedule the interview?

    Thanks!

also, no fee for ds-160, you need to pay for the visa online however

    Differs between countries

    DS160 - print final page

    Book doctors

Book interview - leave 1 week from doctor's date to allow for documents to be sent from docs to your embassy

That's how it works here :D

    Thank you for your reply.

Bout the letter from employer. Im planning on having it signed by my manager without the date then have my fiancee put the date when shes ready. You think thats a good idea?

When should the beneficiary send this docs to the embassy?

It depends where you're coming from. As far as I'm aware, they send all docs to you and you take those to the embassy on your interview date

I saw a VJ member posted in this website just now, saying that the consulate officer asking for 2017 IRS Tax Return Statement for 2017. Anyone here just have their interview? Can you let me know how many years of tax return you provide? :)

From what I hear, only the most recent is required. If it comforts you to have a few years, more evidence can't hurt!

    Good Morning!!!

Yesterday my fiancé Received NVC letter in mail. Took 10 days since NVC assigned case number Jan 12.

I called yesterday to consulate and they told me they have my case but it takes up to 2 weeks to send me the email with instructions and that I can schedule my interview.

So I did, interview date Feb 21, waiting on email to go through with medical examination since in Dominican Republic we don't need to make an appointment.

    Waiting on that email...

    Congratulations!

You mean Form I-864, that form is for CR-1/IR-1 visa.

You can fill up the DS-160 but you have to take note of the Application ID found at upper right side to retrieve it when you log out. Don't submit the form until you have a interview date. DS-160 will only ask for your USCIS WAC number.

Butts. I read that you can do DS-160 after NOA2... I submitted it yday :/ hopefully it will be okay. Thank you!

I'm a bit confused about the notification of readiness and hoping you can help!

Basically, I haven't filled it in. The instruction letter I have sent me to a link that didn't indicate to fill out the notification of readiness. I just had to set up an account, enter my details (including ds160 aa number), pay, schedule my interview. Has something changed? Or should I still fill out the notification of readiness?

All sources I've looked at have said to fill it out, and I don't think any issues could come from doing so, so I would complete it to be safe x

    If what was approved tomorrow?

After NOA2 your case will be sent to the NVC.  When you receive your case number from them (you can call to receive it), you can begin tracking your case with the CEAC tracker.  When that tracker says "Ready for interview", it means the embassy has received your case from the NVC and you can go through the steps necessary to schedule and interview.  This is different for each country and the wait time for an interview is definitely embassy specific.

Sorry, I mean if I got my case number tomorrow, I'm a bit flustered right now, having a moment of worry and stress, I guess.

  9. Hello new friends

I am an April filer but our thread is dead cos everyone has moved over to US now, so I join you!

    NOA1 - April 11

    NOA2 - December 19

Waiting for NVC number - what's the avg wait time been like? 6 weeks or more? zzz

Anyway, nice to meet you all. Also, anyone without NOA2 yet, it can take a long time. I mean it took 252 days for ours...

Please don't give up hope. Just keep prepping as much as you can x

I called them today and they said we're not on the system yet, and that they're approving cases from 6 weeks ago. But, I'm allowed to call daily, and I will call daily :)
