    It took them 10 days from the time they assigned the NVC number until the time it went from - At NVC to In-Transit then another 2 days for Ready at the Embassy. I've been told to wait until it says Ready to fill out the D-160 and send it. I just received the "READY" today, so my Fiance and I are going to complete the D-160 now, and she is going to submit it from Colombia and print-it out to take with her. We are then going to set-up the interview date and pay fees. Make sure the D-160 is submitted from Mexico.. Hope this is helpful. if any information is erroneous, hopefully, someone can chime in..     Looks like they did a bulk shipment today, ours is also in transit

    I just called the National Visa Center for the first time and asked if they had my case yet. I was on hold for about three minutes. What a difference from USCIS..
