Did anyone pay by credit card with the G-1450? Wondering if there are horror stories...
Did mine and no issues came thru abt 3 weeks after paperwork was sent.

So my fiancé checked CEAC website for his passport it said it was sent out to DHL but when he checked at DHL they said that it wasn’t with them at the consulate but when he went down to DHL they said that they don’t have it. Turns out that the consulate still has his passport but it still says it was sent out on the website, so we are back to waiting. Talk about emotional ride!

6 days after medical was turned in to Nigerian dhl office, as of today visa is not ready yet. 😞 sad but I know he is coming which is the good part about this wait. They said 5 to 10 days and I’m beginning to believe 10 days may be realistic. Keep the faith everyone it’ll be over soon then we will be waiting for the green card/work permit.

From what my fiancé said he basically asked who were in the pictures and scanned the pictures. He also asked questions such as how did you propose and what kind of work does your fiancé do etc. He didn’t take all the documents, they took the tax statements the DS 160 but no call logs or chat logs. My fiancé went at 1 PM so there was no wait there was only one other guy there and he was in and out within about an hour. He said that the person asking questions in such a conversational manner that it was easist interview he’s been on.
He said only one other guy there and he was for K1 but he had a special case cause he was previously denied and he was reapplying under a different fiancé 😳.

I’m happy to say my Fiancé did the interview (Wednesday) at the consulate in Lagos, Nigeria (without his physical results) and was approved but had to bring them to DHL the next day (today) when they were ready. So the wait for the visa is 5 to 10 days. We are sooo happy. Wedding is March 16th. Thank u all for the support, u kept me sane thru this chaotic process.

Hello, are you the petitioner or the beneficiary?
Also is the beneficiary supposed to fill DS 160 or DS 260? I’ve read different things. Quite confused.
The steps with the Nigerian embassy is very unclear. Do you mind sharing any information you have about the appropriate steps that needs to be taken after the case is in a “ready” status?
Thank you!
I’m a petitioner my fiancé is in Lagos, Nigeria. He said he has to do the DA-160 and submit payment (to GT Bank) and submit receipt number with application. Then Get the physical and police report. He mentioned it takes abt 2 weeks to get an appointment for interview and 5 days after that to receive the visa if approved. I saw this online and it helped me maybe it’ll help u also:

Ok so I might have a small problem, but not sure...hoping someone can help.
On the I-129f, I filled out the passport expiration date for my fiance (applicant) of April 22, 2023...but its actually April 2, 2023. Somehow they didn't catch it at the USCIS. I can now input it correctly on the DS-160, but will it cause any issues at the interview? Or does the interviewer only care about what is in the DS-160?
Are you the applicant or the petitioner?

The first outreach was on January 8 (day 216). I also reached out on January 12 and again today. I did receive the "within normal processing times and is currently pending adjudication". A Tier I response. I wasn't happy about that. My contact today was a bit more aggressive (but polite).
How are u within normal processties when the date on the USCIS Website caged from June 1st to June 27th? Someone better look at their own information on the website.

RE: I129F Case #- WAC1790353747
Good afternoon Jenny,
Thank you for your inquiry on behalf of your constituent, John Lussow, regarding the I-129F petition filed with U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS).
Your constituent’s case is pending review with an adjudications officer. Your constituent should receive a notice of action on his case within 30-45 days. Please contact us again if the timeframe has expired and the constituent has not received a notice of action* from USCIS.
*A notice of action may be in a form of Approval Notice, Denial Notice, Transfer Notice, Request for Evidence, Notice of Intent to Deny or Notice of Intent to Revoke.
I hope you find this information helpful. Have a great day.
I was hoping my Congressman could get more than the typical Tier I script.
I got the exact same letter on Monday from my congressman‘s office and I got approved today (NOA1 June 23) so it may be forthcoming like in a few days and not in 30 to 45 days.

This was my reply from my “congressional inquiry” which I don’t know if I should look at the bright side it’s WITH an Adjudicator but the rest of the response is what I would get if I called a read off response. But another month??? At this pace I won’t see my fiancé till June.
‘The California Service Center notified me that the I-129F I still pending with an adjudications officer. You should receive a notice of action within 30-45 business days. A notice of action may be in a form of Approval Notice, Denial Notice, Transfer Notice, Request for Evidence, Notice of Intent to Deny or Notice of Intent to Revoke.
If you do not receive a Notice of Action within 30-45 days, please let me know and I can follow up with the Service Center.”
I already had a meltdown on Saturday so I’m trying not to have another one. 😢

I have a question: so back in October 2017 I started giving my fiancé the paperwork he needs after gettn the number from NVC for interview at Nigerian consulate. Fast forward to now (January 2018) im still waiting on my NOA2. So should I update the affidavit of support, bank letter and letter from employer also once the approval comes through since its been a while since I sent him the paperwork?

What I don't understand is the USCIS website and the telephone reps both say "...we process cases in the order they are received." So I am 23 June, if I haven't received my adjudication, there should be no July cases being processed. I know USCIS is really doing their best, its just demoralizing and depressing on a daily basis to wait in despair. But what can we do... the process is a test to every relationship, making them stronger, testing the fidelity. But I swear, I haven't felt this type of mental and emotional anguish since serving in Bosnia in the 90's where I witnessed some of the worst humanity man had to offer. This uninformed waiting is worst. I feel like jumping off a bridge.
I was noticing the same thing but I figured there was an old school adjudicator who wants to do things their way and send out paper approvals thru USPS. So I’m thinking two weeks at most. I’m a June 23rd filer also. Only thing i can imagine so I can make it thru each day. Sometimes imagination is better than reality I suppose in this situation.

I just called USCIS. and seems like they're just reading the answer to my questions LOL. But she was really nice and kept saying I'm sorry that it's been so long bla bla bla.. She told me to call back on Jan 15th. if I didn't get any update on my case before the 15th.
At least u got a nice one, I called she was polite but vague and didn’t give specifics.
They are doin the 23rd I got an update on the app for case 373130! (Congrats to them!) Now if only they don’t skip my number...😳😉
