Hello folks!
Any July 2017 lucky ones who got approved?
-
@Ziongirl Big congrats, and it was a beautiful statement up there 👆🏼, thank you for sharing!

Hi guys, does anyone know if it the interview gets scheduled faster if the I-485 was put on hold at the local office until VAWA approval? Faster than if I was to file I-485 after approval since it is already with them? Was just wondering if that makes any difference. Thank you!
In theory it makes sense that it goes faster if it was put on hold. It doesn’t need to be looked over and transferred from NBC to local office.

@staypositive Big congrats on your approval! So happy for you! 🎊
I know mine is coming soon too (June 15, 2017 filer). So ready to put this in my past.

Hello everyone,
I applied for EAD at the end of May
receipt date june/6
biometrics done at the beginning of July
should I inquire or wait?
i360 filed- August 2017
prima facia- September 2017
EAD+AOS- June 2018
is there any new approvals from July/August 2017 filers?
No July 2017 approvals to my knowledge. It seems they have started on some early June.

Hey guys,
I want to share these two case tracker apps I have been using.
I was using them when I first applied for my I-130 and I-485. I got traumatized with the notification I got of my I-485 denial. At the time, it still baffled me that my ex was such a bad person and did not wish me well. After 1+ year, this doesn’t bother me anymore and I’m using those apps again.
In sum... hope this is helpful for someone else. I found the first app more useful. You can upload your case, and also do a search on the cases before yours to see if others are getting approved.

Thanks, @staypositive I keep getting the still reviewing the case. Twice a month, since July. Do you get those?
I woke up today, and had the update below on my email. Almost had a heart attach!
After logging in, it showed they received my correspondence, which was a change of address and additional documentation (with blue paper). Nothing special...

Hello everyone! Any June 2017 approvals? I’ve seen a couple May ones.
Thank you!
-
Hi @aquila, any word on your I-360? You are a Feb filer, right?
-
@GWMAW you are very welcome! Wishing you all the best in putting this paperwork together!
I’m a June 2017 filer, got a few “We are still reviewing your case” updates, and prima facie renewals. Trying not to get too anxious, and trusting God is in control of everything.

Updating everyone on my EAD c9 renewal:
-Fedex received and signed by USCIS on 8/16.
-Receipt date 8/16
-NOA date 8/24
-Hard copy received by attorney 9/11
Despite my telling the paralegal to file with Vermont, she sent it to Chicago (very frustrating).
My receipt number starts with MSC, and they also sent a letter saying no new biometrics needed. They will use my previous one. Both letters states the automatic 180 days extension.
Online it says: “Fingerprint review was completed”.
I am turning in this paperwork to my HR and will be one less thing to worry about.
Hope this is helpful to someone!

@GWMAW If I were you, I would get the lease signed, write a good and concise one page explaining explaining you lived together and utilities were included.Try to get something from the landlord that verifies he rents with utilities included.
I would also get affidavits from family members, and think hard if I could get any other piece of evidence: Costco card, gym or church membership, Christmas cards...

@Ingodshands94 Congratulations 🎊 No RFEs, May 15, that’s awesome! It gives the rest of us lots of hope!
How many pages did you have on your psychological evaluations? How many sessions did you attend?
thank you!

Hello everyone,
I went to my lawyer today to sign the application to renew my EAD c9, which expires in the end of November. I know we have a 180 days extension, but prefer to send it now and don't worry (too much) about all the delays. I cannot risk not being able to work. I will post here when I receive the new card.
I'm a mid June 2017 I-360 filer, in my third Prima Facie (180 days each). Received a couple updates where it stated they are reviewing my case, no action is needed from you at the time. One of them was on my birthday (don't know if it is relevant). I am sending more information with the blue notice (restraining order, divorce, etc). I will keep everyone updated with my timeline.
This blog is not only full of important legal information, but I have found it very supportive in a emotional level as well. Thanks everyone who posts here! Specially Sandra and Damara, who are our angels!

@Florecita_Bella I really think you will be fine. Just concentrate on answering the RFE the best way possible, and you shouldn't have issues.
The good point for your case, is that they already issued a RFE, so if you fulfill the RFE you should be good to go.

Send them the one on the USCIS website. It says the form expires feb 2018 but I didn’t find anything later than that date so I just sent that one and they accepted it
Thank you for your help. I will send the renewal package next week, and will let everyone knows how it goes.

No you don’t have to since there’s no fee for renewal
@Mnmnm Thank you so much for the info!
When you first applied to your EAD, do you remember if you paid the fees, or did you do the I-912 fee waiver? I did the waiver.
Iam thinking of sending the renewal without the fees. If they ask, then I will send it again with the fees. I still have 4 months on my EAD, and then the 180 days extension. Hopefully all will be fine. I can totally use that money to pay bills.
-
@staypositive I filed with an I-912 last year, the fee waiver. Do you know if I have to fill out another I-912?
-
@Aburi2018 @staypositive I am renewing my EAD, same c9 category. I first applied with a fee waiver last year, as I didn't have a job. But now I have a full time job and make more than 18k/yr, so I don't think I qualify for a fee waiver again... Do you know of anything different? My EAD expires in November, and I don't want to take the chance to wait for the EAD c31. If I apply for the c9 again, I can use the 180 days extension with NOA in hands.
I received my 3rd Prima Facie for 180 days one day before it's expiration. I had received an email from USCIS saying they are still processing my case, so I figured the Prima Facie renewal was coming.
-
@staypositive and @Aburi2018 , I am also a June 2017 filer. Got my third prima facie this week without requesting. It's again for 180 days. I don't think we can predict when our cases will be adjudicated, we can just wait.
I have to renew my i-765 in a couple months. If the i-360 approval doesn't arrive then, I will have to pay the renewal fees ($410). I applied for a fee waiver last time, and can't do the same now. Trying not to get anxious, and just save the money for the renewal. Both things not easy to do. But when I look back at my life, how horrible it was when I lived the the monster (ex-husband)... I can only thank the Lord for getting me out of there! Only greener pasture on my way now.

How soon do u get ur work permit EAD after biometric? Anyone?
I believe this is is one million dollar question.
—There is no straight answer for it.
I’ve been waiting more than 100 days from my receipt and about 30 days after biometrics. I’ve raised SR and reached to my Congressman. Nothing so far. But with God’s help, I know I’ll have my EAD soon.
-
Thanks for your reply. It is c9. I’ve already done a SR, which they completed. And my guess is that they will say it is within regular processing time.
I’ve also reached to my Congressman, his office has been very responsive and helpful. Waiting on them too.
Wondering how long others have been waiting.
-
Hi guys,
Any recent I-765 approvals? How many days of wait since receipt date? I’ve been waiting for over 100 days and nothing...
thank you.

Very rarely, they sent GC without interview. I’ve seen posts from Sandra about it. But then, it’s the I-485 that change to card in production (change of status).
