Hi gur, there are certain vaccinations that USCIS requires such as chickenpox and one of them is tuberculosis AKA TB.

TB record expires after a year.

The other vaccine records are fine if you have records. Some vaccine is once for life time, some are 2-3 times but does not really matter with USCIS except for the TB I think.

Bring your vaccination record with you if you have to do medicals all over they will take care of it and tell you that you do not have to get all.

I think they will ask you to do TB test again if you haven't done it within last year.

Test is just simple you will have to go again after 48-72 hours to get it checked that you do not have TB.

Did courtesy letter give you an instruction that you need to prepare i-693?

USCIS requires three (3) current vaccination

    1. TDAP

    2. MMR

    3. VARICELLA.

I know cuz I already did my I-693. If you have none of these base on where you are each will cost $60 each. Hopes it help.

This is all correct. If you can not get a copy of ex's passport or CBRA or other documents showing they are a USC you need to gather as much info as you can. If you have A#s or passport numbers (you may have them written somewhere) include them along with the items listed above. Write a letter stating you are unable to obtain ex;s documents showing USC status and request they search their databases. It can add some time to the process for them to search (many people may have same names to sort through so the more info you give the better). You can also submit affidavits from people stating who they are and how they are related and that they have knowledge of the exs status as a USC for whatever reason (employer, friend, family, coworker)

So true. When it comes to RFE’s like qualifying relationship, good moral character, extreme cruelty and bonafide marriage I got a ton of info cuz I went through those. So I can help in those situations.

    Hi Dear,

What documents has USCIS asked for the interview, other than updated medical?
I'm getting way ahead but I'm just wondering...

Copy all important documents like birth certificate, I-94 if you have it, marriage certificate etc. they gonna ask everything on your I-485 and maybe something about the abuse. If you have anything you had made a mistake you will get a chance to correct it at the interview. Good luck.

I never submitted my spouse's birth certificate to Vermont....and it was never requested...

I understand but when my case was processing that’s what they said in my RFE for qualifying relationship. They said they can not determine my wife’s USC with just a marriage certificate which I submitted. I guess different folks different strokes. Lol 😂 😂 😂 😂

Hi, I finally received the RFE. Asks for qualifying relationship plus good moral character. My wife was born abroad and I do not have a copy of her passport. Anyone with an idea of how I can get a copy of her Consular Report of Birth Abroad (CRBA)? Any guidance will be highly appreciated.

    Here’s what you can do.

    1. U.S. birth certificate

    2. U.S. passport “which you said you don’t have access to”.

    3. Statement from a consular officer certifying U.S. citizenship

    4. Certificate of naturalization or citizenship and/or

    5. Form FS-240, Report of Birth Abroad of a Citizen of the United States.

If you cannot locate these documents then provide as much as these information as possible which I’m gonna list.

    1. Complete name

    2. Date of birth and country of birth

    3. A-Number and Class Admission if naturalized

    4. The date and place of entry into the United States if naturalized

    5. Any correspondence from USCIS that may be able to submit that indicates a previous file number and or

    6. Any other document which indicates the place of birth

    7. Parents full name.

What I did with my wife because I had no documents was list all her parents name, date of birth, place of birth, children names and their date and place of birth. List my wife full name, date of birth, SSN, her place of birth.

Not necessarily. USCIS can access whatever they want to but it takes a little bit of stress to go about other government departments requesting for this information. They have too much work already. Its easier when they just have u send it and then they just verify it. However, u may need a legal mind to help you navigate this issue. Its kind of tricky

For his RFE USCIS cannot determine the US citizenship of his spouse with just a marriage certificate.

  8. 48 minutes ago, Kersac said:

Qualifying relationship has nothing to do with her citizenship statues which is what u seem to be asking about. Qualifying relationship means proof of marriage. Thats what you should be trying to proof

Qualifying relationship has everything to do with the spouse being United States Citizen or Legal Permanent Resident. I know. Because I received that RFE before after submitting marriage certificate.

Quickly update your medicals in preparation for your impending interview! Some folks get out of the interview and get the approval update..others wait few days, weeks or months! No one can tell you exactly when! But we all hope you get it right after your interview!😉👍

I second this. I got mine maybe 20-30 minutes after I left the interview.

Please I have a question. Is it okay to request the service of the ombudsman for assistance even though my Congresswoman is already on it? Can I also send in the final divorce decree now or it will be considered too late?

    I 360 pending 29 months now.

Any input will be much appreciated. Have a blessed Sunday 😊😊😊🙏🙏🙏

Wow!!!!! Never knew Approval for I-360 could take that long. Wow. It’s time for you to involve your Congressman/woman to step in.

yep, he is a USC. so i don't know why my attorney didn't submit all the forms at once... ugh... i can't wait for it to be over so that i don't have to deal with that office anymore. She is not as bad as others complain here, but honestly i have to pull words out of her and doesn't do or answer anything extra that i am asking. Oh well...God please give me patience.

You definitely have to follow up with some of these lawyers else they will get nothing done. I’ve been there believe me. Having to drive 6 hours to and fro. Remember it’s you that’s gonna benefit from it all so might as well push out everything you got to do.

Here is where i get confused. Anybody knows- can you file I-360 & I-485 together, cause i don't know why my attorney didn't. I am also an April, 2017 filler and got Notice of I-360 approval on January 7, 2019, but it seems like the decision was taken on December 7, 2018, cause that's when the EAD is valid from.  And on February 1, 2019 i sent the I-485 form and included the medical exam along with it. So now i don't know, will they be sending CL or that's not necessary because the medicals are less than 1 year old?

    I know...patience... :)

As long as your spouse is United States Citizen you could have file I-360, I-485 and I-765. If your medical is expired by time you should get an interview Notice, they will send you a courtesy letter. If it’s still valid they will not send any courtesy letter.

Whaaaat? I really don't know how USCIS operates but I'm inclined to believe(not sure though) that those that have a previous i485 probably are processed faster...like @Trizzle when did you file I485?

I filed I-360, I-765 and I-485 in April 2017 at the same time but my lawyers didn’t knew what they were doing and tick C31 box. So my I-485 was processed after I-360 Approval.

Hi family!😊 just wanted to update y'all that I just received my courtesy letter..WOW! I wasn't even expecting it at this time following everyone else's timeline! It came pretty fast! Anyway thank GOD for that! I pray my interview letter comes through that quick! Doing my happy dance right now...#mood 4eva 💃😂😂

    Congratulations 🎉🍾🎊🎈. One step closer.

I really don't think it would affect you in anyway since they are not the ones deciding your case..people fire incompetent lawyers all the time...if they're more of an obstruction than help then they gots to go!  Bottom line is it won't affect you as long as it's documented with Vermont so they are informed of the new place to send mails! I'm especially worried for you because you have made us understand that they don't care about their clients and are shady! I'm wondering what drama awaits you when it's time for interview and to pick up your green card!😏

You can always fire an attorney but where issues may rise is when and if you fire them, you got to update USCIS that they won’t longer represent you and the lawyers have to notify USCIS as well. Cuz often times I see members fire their attorneys and USCIS still send documents to them. That was the only reason I didn’t fire my attorneys because I knew after I got approved I won’t have to deal with them as often as when I was putting the file together.

@sandraj @Trizzle @Stillwinning!!!😊1 question I wanna know.. if I fire this lawyer would it affect my i360 application? I wanna know, they promise to get back to me today to fix the correction, now I didnt hear anything from them, this is how they do everytime, i would have to be the one to call them to remind them 10,000times before they would jump into action..

And it won’t affect your I-360 in no way, shape or form.

    Hi guys,

I’m February 12-2018 filler and I just got an update on my case today saying that they sent me RFE.

I check every single post of this forum and think have an idea of how it works 😂

However I’d like to ask, have you heard from someone who has received a negative decision after sending their RFEs responses?

    thank you

I’ve never heard of someone getting a negative result from a RFE. It’s kinda hard to mess up a RFE response because the RFE itself will be specific what USCIS needs from you. Most of the time is something missing, additional information/document or needs some clarification. Good luck.

@Stillwinning!!!😊 @Trizzle I finally picked up my EAD card,as soon as the secretary saw me came through the office door she just raise her hands up with my EAD card,  so I walk straight to her picked up and sign....

Woahhhh this New EAD card is beautiful 🕺🏼🕺🏼🕺🏼🕺🏼🕺🏼😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 am so happy .. do you know from my formal EAD CARD my ex spouse had tear off the part of the Notice that says "USE THIS TEAR OFF PORTION TO SPEED YOUR APPLICATION FOR AN EXTENSION OR REPLACEMENT"? hmmmm people are very mean....

There you go. Congratulations 🎈🍾🎉🎊. Now watch what will happen. Anytime you ask for anything from them they will think twice because they just realize that your a serious person when it comes to what is yours.

    Hello Family!

So for my initial good faith marriage RFE, I gathered the following:

    A) 13 page affidavit describing in detail:

courtship, marriage, small details like where we used to go, activities we did

why i do not have joint accounts with my spouse- did not get SSN till after i left

why i am not on the lease- spouse refused

who was at the wedding and who not and why

    everyday routine

their family history from grandparents and on and family dynamics

stories from their childhood... like you share with your partner

    stories connecting gifts exchanged

who got the rings and rings description

    b) pictures of the gifts i got from spouse and location if known

    c) tons of pictures tied to the events and locations in affidavit

    d) texts- everyday mundane things, making plans to go places, etc

    e) electric bills

    f) joint membership to things

g)FLOOR PLAN of the apartment that i drew by hand with detailed notes

    h) affidavits from family and friends

    i) e-mails exchanging info for plans and stuff

    j) my bank statements with transactions tied to out restaurant visits etc.

    any more ideas and suggestions??

Hope everyone is in positive vibration or on the way to it!! I really value and am thankful for  this community and all you beautiful people. !

    XOXO

Sounds very good to me but try reach out to @sandranj and let her get a read of it. She will tell you exactly where you stand with responding to your RFE
